eBay Arbitrage software

After doing a free weeks of research I'm still a bit sceptical about Amazon to eBay arbitrage. I've seen tools and ways online (Profitspy, ProfitScraper, etc) but do they hold up today? I don't want to waste $50-$70 on a monthly subscription only to not make a profit at all.

Has anyone had any decent success with tools such as the ones mentioned?

Tools are not enough. You need to know how to use them and what sells on ebay. Listing thousands of random items with fixed margin will take you nowhere as your STR will be very low. Thinking that you'll sell 1% of your listings daily is not true. If you have low quality listings then you can even end up selling nothing or something like 0.03% of your listings. They help to automate the process but they're not the "magic one-click tool". There's still tons of money to do with ebay arbitrage if you know what to do.
As for tools you need a good lister, stock manager/repricer, research tool.
