Easy $100 A Day - Perfect For Noobs

My question is: Do people really buy e-books and guides from sites like this(even if i write a good article about their product, their website still looks bad and not very trustworthy imo)? Or would I be better of with Amazon and their "real" products but much lower rates? Also, would it be smart to use both CB and Amazon on 1 site? Thanks for this amazing thread guys!
While I haven't made any sales with amazon yet I know I personally would buy an amazon product that had good reviews without much hesitation. And would never touch most of the products that we push from clickbank. That being said, people still buy them. And even if someone is twice as likely to buy an amazon product as they are a clickbank product, your only making 4-10% on the amazon item. Unless your niche has some expensive products you can push most people will make more money with the lower converting clickbank products. I talked to someone that was working with a good niche where he reviewed amazon products ranging from $300-$2,000+ if you have a niche like that you'll put clickbank to shame after you get your commission rate to 10%.

As for using amazon and clickbank on the same site, I don't see why not. That's what I'm doing on the last site I made and ironically enough the clickbank product gets the most traffic. No sales yet but I have a clickbank product and an amazon product that essentially do the same thing, only the clickbank product costs twice as much. Yet for some reason the clickbank item has several order form impressions and the amazon product has almost no traffic. Good site optimization I suppose. :p

I searched for this theme a full day and it cost me sweat and frustration, but I finally found it! It has everything to make your blog into a fullfledged review site. Be sure to read the readme before installing.

edit: it seem like i cant post urls yet due to being a noob here. Well the file is at depositfiles and the file number is 6amndzkd9, i'm sure you'll be able to find it with that information :)

The cash in this payment came from one site. And the alerts really depend on the keywords you set them up with. Some of mine get 100+ a day some can get as little as 10 or less.

Oh wow. One site. Very nice! Judging from another post of your's, it looks like you have more sites up now. I can't wait to start seeing hops. But I don't even have the reviews written yet. Still working on how to write effectively.

I'm running into trouble finding any free review themes. Are there any out there?

Meathead gave a link for themes earlier in the thread. Around Page 4 I think. I would highly suggest you read the entire thread. Read it post by post, page by page. Write down notes because otherwise you'll forget. No matter what new thing you learn, always remember that we retain only 6-10% of what we learn. Writing things down will greatly improve that retention.

Hmm here's a question for those of you who have some experience with clickbank. I sold a few products with rebills, on the products landing page it states that the second payment will be charged 30 days from purchase. Does it take longer than that for the rebill to make it to my clickbank account? Because I currently have 2 purchases that are past the 30 day mark (35 and 32 respectively) and I'm starting to wonder if they'll actually show up at all.

The purchaser's may have cancelled the rebill subscription.

Thanks! I am planning on implementing a spin off with this and a few others i have found around this gold mine! Bhw ftw!

This method has been working quite well for me over the last month or two since implementing it. My yahoo account has increased to level 2 so I can now add links into my answers and have been getting 10-20 extra people a day to my site through this method. Also the last couple of weeks my sales have gone from pretty much nothing to having made $100 last week and up to $30 this week so far. The people coming to my site are much more interested in buying what I have to sell. So thanks once again meathead1234 for your awesome contribution.

Nice, using Yahoo answers is a good idea. They tend to rank very highly for many keywords and bring in decent traffic too.

Meathead, thanks for this amazing method. Its excellent and something a newbie could do without having to invest much cash.

Niche research is important though, don't go around selling cheap ebooks from Amazon like I used to. I made Amazon 400 dollars in revenue but barely got 25 bucks for it. Clickbank may convert worse but the payouts are way higher and it creates more revenue for me personally.

Thanks for the answer. But damn I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. I'll have to wait and see since I have 2 more rebills that will be coming next week. Hopefully at least one of them sticks. If not I guess I can't complain, at least they didn't request a refund.

A question about Amazon Associates: How often do they update your reports page? Because The page didn't refresh once since i'm an Amazon Associate and I'd like to know how many clickthroughs i've had so far.

I would like to thank Meathead and several others for explaining this method and helping me to start my own review site.
MY site is basic, however i think the material is good. It has been up for only 1 day and i have had 30 hops between 2 products.

bear in mind this traffic must be through Yahoo answers as i havent hit up the forums yet.
I have answered maybe 4 questions.

No orders as yet, though i am confident it will happen.

I can only invest around 1-2 hours per day as i already work 12 hours and have a wife and daughter.

My page SEOSACK has been up for 3 days, had over 100 hops not those kind of hops(). No ads, backlinks or anything done to draw traffic. My click through was about 13%. Is that ok for a first time? Am I on the right track?:) Thanks.

13% is really good! SEOSACK, so your website sells e-marketing guides etc. Is that a good working niche?
I converted a site i didn't use to a review site about gaming gear and gaming (strategy-)guides. Uhm, is someone willing to say if my articles are well put together (conversion-rate wise). PM me and i'll send the link over.

Ok a few questions

(1) I have decided to go with a .com domain with the word review in it, not geared to any particular niche so that I can post multiple niches under the same domain. My question is, which of the following URL are better? (Note: example domain and niche)
- weightloss.reviewsite.com

(2) Due to the URL structure as above (that is - storing them all under one domain but having different Wordpress blogs in each folder for each niche), what should I present to the user in the event that they go to the root domain: e.g going to reviewsite.com rather than reviewsite.com/weightloss

(3) Should I be mentioning price in the reviews, or leave it up to the vendors salepage? Why or why not?

Note, these are example domain and niche - no I am absolutely not doing weightloss

Any input is appreciated, thanks.

For me, when I read a review, I have an idea how much it costs before i read. Also, I may have a better price than you listed. Then I go elsewhere. Hope that helps.

Cheers.

Thanks Meathead for an awesome thread and for sharing. I've actually seen this thread kicking around for many months now, and just got around to reading it. With the penguin fresh on my mind, I've been looking to diversify my traffic and finally not keep all my eggs in one basket (my own fault).

To my surprise, I realize I've actually been using this method since 2004!!! I don't know why it didn't occur to me earlier as I was transitioning from offline products to online products. I guess I was so focused on building backlinks and ranking that I forgot to take into account direct traffic from forums. I have an offline company that sells products we manufacture, and in the beginning, forum marketing was exactly what I did to generate hype and get traffic to our website. For anyone who doesn't think this method works, trust me, it works. We;re still getting buyers and traffic from posts I made 7 years ago. I've done the "ask question with one account" and "answer with another", as well as just building up trust in a forum by answering other people's questions and every now and then sneak a link in to my product.

Now that I finally realize this, I'm going to K.I.S.S and implement this method to all my IM sites as well. Can't believe I never made the connection earlier! Take action people, take action!

Hey burgers. Thanks for sharing your story. I wanted to ask you or anyone how you fly under the radar on Yahoo Answers? I've heard of so many folks getting banned on Yahoo Answers. You can't post links until you reach Level 2 as I understand it. So once you get to Level 2, you have to be careful how many times you post a link, right? What is a safe level?
