Dropshipping

Hi!

With so many people giving out their suggestions that are genuinely workable, I feel that the dropshipping method should just be the stepping stone. You should work in order to hit big for the long haul....
build a name rather than just sitting on a bunch of products that are going to run out of potential in a short while.

Good luck btw
CHEERS!!!!

so you give IG influcencer free products or discount to promote ?
Sorry for the late reply but I am super busy developing my store + Instagram.

So I've seen a lot of dropshipping accounts offering discounts to their ambassadors (models). What they do is they send a message and comment to different pet accounts asking them to be an ambassador of their brand. But in order to do that they have to purchase a product from their store so they can also unlock a unique promo code/discount for them and their audience. This tactic really works, you can see so many pets modeling their products on IG and promoting their promo codes.

I personally don't want to push anyone to make a purchase like that. I find it unethical and when you google their brand you can see articles referring to them as scam. But they still make serious bank even though their products cost 10-15 times more expensive than Aliexpress.

I can show you the message they've sent me in case you're interested:

"We would like to offer you a (25% OFF+ FREE SHIPPING) your entire order in exchange of along partnership collaboration and also pictures and story that will be published on our main instagram page @theirbrand
After you place your first order on our website http://www.theirbrand.com we will activate you a 15% OFF discount for your followers (with your personal Link). You either get FREE products or 10% commission on each sale you make with your personal discount code.

That's how our ambassador program works
So are you interested in our offer"

What I'll do is I will promote a 50% discount to my audience for their first order. I will offer to feature them on my Instagram account wearing my products. And if they're interested in being an ambassador they can get a lifetime unique discount code for them and a discount code for their followers. They can earn money or store credit by promoting it.

This is what I'll try first. Second plan is offering free products. Third plan is buying ads.

I hope that helps!

to get startet... for all the subscriptions and fees ... calculate about 100$ a month.
To get your first customers you will need traffic and exposure. either you run paid ads..or try the free way.
when using paid ads i would recommend fb ads. you will need allot of testing... before knowing in which market niche of the audience your product fits and
will make a first sale.

Curious to know why nobody suggests Google Ads for advertising? I'm gonna start advertising and need to know what's exactly wrong with GAds.

With eBay you can start on a very tight budget. The fact that you don't have to pay a penny for traffic is amazing.
When you do Shopify, you have to invest at least $1K for FB ads

everything fine but how do you deal with the long delivery time? Especially for Europe it takes very long and so like me I hate to wait to get the damn order

IMO, you need to have some income, either from job or from elsewhere that you could waste away, atleast $100 - $200 per month, because everything isn't going to cost much (like shopify fees) but what is going to cost is google and facebook ads. And you don't know after how much money you test until you get a positive ROI. You need to be throwing away alot of money, so if you have let's say fixed $200, don't try it, first get regular income that you get every month, either from job or anywhere, then try shopify, but if you are going to sell on marketplaces like ebay, then you can do it, you don't have to spend on traffic.

Good luck.

shopify plan + domain. 100 dollars for advertising won't be enough unless you have a monthly budget. But you can start by advertising for free and it works! I am also on a shopify/dropshipping journey and I am in the beginning stages. Right now I am growing my Instagram account in my niche (without a store) and when I get 1.000 followers I will contact them (by sending a DM) letting them know of the launch of my store. I will also offer a 50% discount only for them, for their first purchase. I created my IG account on August 18 and I currently have around 300 followers with 47 photos/videos. However, since Monday 31 August I started sending follow loop messages and that's how I got the most followers. In less than 24 hours I gathered more than 50 followers. And it keeps growing!

I hope this helps. If you have any questions let me know.

Btw what is your market? Tech, Health & Fitness, Fashion?

Hey, could you define what you mean by "follow loop messages"? I'm also trying to grow my page :)

Do i need Shopify to work with Dropshiping? I just can't make a landing page and embedded some AliExpress product there with another way without paying for Shopify service?

Also how can i deal with Costumer Support, if the product delivery was delayed or the product was with some flaw, and the costumer contact me, how can i outsource this to the AliExpress provider?

dropshipping china products doesn't work anymore
Why not? High delivery cost? Product poor quality? Products saturated in the market?

I never worked with it but for me it seems to make sense that this method keep working, just needs to get a good ROI, targeting the right audience, converting more with less money.

Because long shipping times. If your shipping time is higher than 14 days, don't even think about this. You going to get chargebacks and bad reviews from buyers sooner or later.

Ok, but i saw that it's possible to choose other shipping options which are more expensive but faster

How much money do you need to start dropshipping through shopify etc..

Im talking about the minimum
Basically, most of the budget to run Shopify dropshipping will be spent on marketing. So if you ask how much money to start dropshipping, it will depend on your marketing strategies do you want to use, let me break it down:

-If you don't have any budget ($0), the best marketing strategy will find an influencer who willing to do an affiliate partnership, in this case, you only order from the supplier once you get an order from your affiliate partner. Another method, growing IG account and Pinterest account organically to drive traffic to your eCommerce store.
-Budget around(0$-$500) can be a focus on IG paid shoutout or endorsement sending the product to the influencer, most of the influencer will ask you to pay money in the upfront for their shoutout fee
-Budget around ($500-$1000), you can use Google Ads
-Budget around ($1000 above), you can use Facebook Ads

Personally,

I'd invest that money into content and go the SEO route. Do the trial SEM rush trial and collect low comp keywords for your product.

Domain $1.99
Hosting $50
Woocom website + free Elementor version
US content writer $300 for 20 × 1500 word articles

Once you have a winning article, buy a high quality PBN link to boost its rank.

I use to do facebook ads a few years ago but I seen the writing on the wall. Ads are going to get more expensive and FB is getting more strict. Happy I made that decision.

Build an authority ecom biz and get business passively. Once you've established the authority, you can do whatever you want.

All my friends swore by fb ads, and all them quit that and dropshipping. I'm the only one that stuck with it and now seeing the fruits of my labor. All thanks to god.

Yes and and moon does not exist either. If You have no success with it, study why stop just making statements like that. It's just sad.

DS china items works, and for some even better, because there are just type of people who say "it does not work". Less competition.

It depends, If you have under $1000 I suggest you start with influencers/pages. If you have more than $1000 you can start with Facebook ads.

I would start by trying to get free traffic because for facebook ads you need to learn a lot and its not like you gonna launch campaign from the top of your head and it wil be profitable. Try use social networks. But still it requires a lot of effort not like you try for 2 hours and drop it because you havent gotten a sale.
But to answer your question. I saw people who took a course and spend 7k and get 1-2k back, thats -5k. Its not money generator. Its complex.
