How much money do you need to start dropshipping through shopify etc..

Im talking about the minimum

I think about 200$

It depends on what kind of a store are you looking for as people can even spend $5k and still not amount to much. But in general $200-500 is a good amount to get going and start growing.

Invest small first and try to find good and cheap (even free) sources of traffic

$100 for good website and good design and $100 to promote your 3-4 first products , if it didn't work then you are doing something wrong

I don't really think that 100$ is enough to start dropshipping on Shopify because it's not easy to find wining product just by testing 1 or even 3 product...
I'm always asking how what amount should I have before starting this and must people I know that got success on this day that at least 1k-2k.

I would go with $200-300. I have a feeling you will want some sort of cushion.

Depends on what products you sell, there are several options.
Basic: Domain, Hosting, Design( if needed), Ads ...

shopify plan + domain. 100 dollars for advertising won't be enough unless you have a monthly budget. But you can start by advertising for free and it works! I am also on a shopify/dropshipping journey and I am in the beginning stages. Right now I am growing my Instagram account in my niche (without a store) and when I get 1.000 followers I will contact them (by sending a DM) letting them know of the launch of my store. I will also offer a 50% discount only for them, for their first purchase. I created my IG account on August 18 and I currently have around 300 followers with 47 photos/videos. However, since Monday 31 August I started sending follow loop messages and that's how I got the most followers. In less than 24 hours I gathered more than 50 followers. And it keeps growing!

I'm planing to start dropshipping on Shopify in the next few months and I'm thinking to create an IG account now and make it growing...
So is there any rules to follow to creat a good IG account?
What nich can you advise me ?
NB: I live in Morocco but I want to dropship internationally, (us market and europe)

To be completely honest with you. You should at least have 100-500$ saved up for testing the product... then comes the Shopify fees, and product costs.
Altogether I highly recommend that you have saved up 1000-1500$.

Drophshipping is still worth it ?

Everyone is recommending $200 but I mean...

If you want to succeed and give it your best shot. $1000 minimum in my opinion.

$250 paid theme
$100 ordering products for custom content
$100 software to find winners & content

rest Facebook ads

minimum : Shopify Plan (14 days TriaL) 29$
domain + hosting on shopify: 14$
=43$

The rest is your choice, if you are able to sell products with free method, you need only 43$ for the first 44days, IF you want you can spend money on other paid traffic sources. But these 43$ are minimum for the first 44 days, or just 14$ for domain + hosting, because if you make sales in the first 14 days shopify is free!

Hello Afgan84

Right now I am at 600 followers and my phone is blowing up with notifications. I've seen businesses with less followers on IG attracting customers and selling products.

Here is what I do in order to gather followers:

1. I post one picture daily even on weekends.
I am in the pet niche and I own many different animals. I post one or sometimes two pictures a day. I want to attract animal lovers.

2. I am always creating a caption.
Write something short so people can comment easier. Ask questions if you need to. No caption posts seem super lazy and it is not welcoming. It doesn't make me want to comment on it.

3. I am using relevant hashtags.
Go on a popular IG account of your niche and copy their hashtags. Make sure they are always relevant to your posts. In addition keep an eye on Instagram's recommendations for example when you type "#hamster" the platform will recommend you relevant hashtags for example "#hamsterpet".

4. I follow as many ''new to Instagram" accounts as I can per day. (I just discovered this method or else I would be at 1.000 followers already)
While I post pictures of my pets I also follow new IG accounts. These are accounts that have been created recently and are more willing to follow back. Try to follow an account with thousands of followers and you may never see a follow back. But new accounts are always more generous because they are new and want to attract followers themselves. Click on the heart icon to see your notifications and scroll to the bottom. There you'll see new accounts in your niche.

5. When someone is following me (or following back) I go to their profile and try to like as many pictures as I can.
I can like up to 40 pictures per account. I also thank them for following under one of their posts.

6. When I post I like and comment on my followers posts.
Instead of harassing them "hey like my new post" I signal to them by commenting on their posts. That's going to make them look at your profile and comment as well. Your comment has to be relevant to their posts for example "nice bag you have" or "nice picture, I love it". Including emojis is always a plus.

7. I thank my "likers"
When someone is liking more than 10 of my posts I shout them out in my stories.I screenshot their action and then tag them in my stories saying thank you.

8. I interact with them
When I see an interesting video or picture I post it on my stories with some music, caption and gif. I try to make them react and remember me. In addition some of them share my creations and I get more followers.

9. I respond to their comments or DM's
Always respond to their comments or privet messages. Do not just like their comments but respond. Look at a random post with comments without responses and then look at one post where the influencer responds to every comment. Which one looks more inviting?

10. I Unfollow unwanted accounts
Those who are not following back hit unfollow. These accounts won't buy anything from you in the future. Download an app and get rid of them. I am using an android app called "Follower Analyzer".

11. Share helpful tips
People will thank you for helping them! For example share how you are gaining followers, how you see your IG analytics (with a creator account), how to see unfollowers (with an app) and more.

And be ready for your phone to blow up LOL

PS: I can't suggest you a niche because I haven't researched about other niches. I use one that's close to my heart.

If you want to sell products for pets but you don't have pets yourself, you can start by having an account with re-posts. Make sure to always credit the original source. I've seen so many accounts like that and they get thousands of followers.

Was worth 2000 years ago. Dropshipping isn't a new business and I think not that dropshipping will die. Maybe dropshipping from China..

I think $ 1,000 is enough, I do not know what to sell depending on what you will sell, but it makes more sense to stock and sell the product and when you say dropshopping, when the product is sold, you have the concept of buying it from another place and sending it there.
