Came across this Youtube influencer talking about dropshipping with Instagram without paying any ads and pulling in 6-figures annually. Possible?

The rundown is that you make 10 or so IG accounts and you automate this process with IG bots to follow popular hashtags, message the IG users using those tags and provide them with an offer linking them back to your site.

Is this legit? Anyone else doing this?

With enough traffic, and smart targeting (the right hashtags for your niche), it's not unfathomable for this to be legit.

The thing is, it's a lot more than meets the eye;

Say you have 10 bots f/uf 100 people a day each. That's 1000 follows > 40% followback rate > That's 400 followers a day > 20% DM message opens > 80 clicks > x sales?

I'm just throwing around arbitrary numbers, but you get the point. It's all about the amount of traffic you're getting.

Affiliate links are legit.

You can also send an affiliate link to influencers on mail, and some of them will promote your product to get paid themselves.

The only disadvantage is that you will lose some money from the product because the influencer will get some of the profit. :)

Sure, it's do-able.

But that does not sound legit, not 6-figures with only 10 accounts...

If you want to do this, I'd recommend automating an outreach to influencers in your niche instead. Approaching them with an affiliate offer.

Affiliate programs can be built for free btw, Shopify app I use is "GoAffPro" and the free version works great. Simply attach your ad creatives to the welcome email instead of the actual dashboard (limited to 1MB ad creative uploads for the free version)

Good luck!

Yes, it's totally do-able. If you have multiple 6-figure sized accounts that are all niched already... then you promote products on them... it's going to be an easy time making money.
