Dropshipping using Amazon Prime vs Regular

So I'm currently dropshipping, still relatively new and I'm looking to switch to Amazon but have a few questions.

1) Can creating separate amazon prime trial accounts and it getting banned adversely effect your main personal one? For instance, I plan to use Amazon FBA to sell eventually and want to know if this can effect that as well as my main personal account that I use for prime.

2) Would just doing non-prime dropshipping make a huge difference? On ebay?s site it says it increases sales by 11%, but I?m just wondering how people are doing in regards to non-amazon prime dropshipping, since most of what I?ve read is all people doing amazon prime. I guess there?s some lost sales from not having the ?fast n free? and having to mark up items under $35 greater to account for shipping, though once you have sufficient sales volume this won?t be an issue it seems as it will be easy to get to the $35 free shipping limit and ship to multiple addresses?

3) For free 2 day shipping for ebay do you account for international orders with their GSP by just shipping it to their freight address within the 2 business days?

I suppose if it?s easy enough to create amazon prime trial accounts and keep using them then it?s fine, I?ve just not had experience with any stealth accounts so I don?t know the effort in doing so. Though definitely don't want to risk it if getting anything banned will ruin selling using Amazon's FBA.

Think about this for a second. You're Amazon and there's some jackass creating multiple trial prime accounts to rip you off. One day, you figure out his "real" or personal account. What do you think will happen?

1) short answer NO...unless your dumb enough to use the same address, phone, credit card, name, etc. It's simple....just don't use the same info on each account.

2) Sure. Using non-prime shipping makes a huge difference with your bottom line. If you're looking to make as much profit as possible while giving your customers the fastest shipping available which tends to result in much higher feedback scores, then utilizing Amazon prime is your only option.

3) Hopefully you're not using Amazon prime for international orders. That's simply not going to work. You utilize Amazon US or Amazon UK for each corresponding country. It's a simple as that.

I thought Amazon also collected information such as IP, computer info, cookies/flash cookies, and such that can be used to track and link your accounts independently of the information you enter in to create an account?

Also, I'm wondering why you say Amazon Prime won't work for international orders? I've used Amazon as a backup source before, and some have been international orders, and it's worked out fine. With that said, they've all been through ebay's GSP so not sure if that is what you are referring to.

Sure, Amazon collects that information as well. That has nothing to do with your initial statement however. You also want to make sure that your IP address, cookies and so forth are clear.

You're not going to be able to utilize Amazon US drop shipping with international orders. Again not sure what eBay GSP has to do with your last statement.

When you say clear, do you just mean I've manually cleared them and is that something I need to do every time before logging into one of the prime trial accounts? Would just using a different user login specifically for the prime trials be sufficient or would cookies still be an issue?

My initial statement was regarding accounts being linked/banned so I mentioned the other information they collect since I figure they'll use any way they can to link accounts together.

Regarding international orders and GSP, I'm not saying utilizing amazon prime to ship directly to a different country, but through ebay's GSP program where you just ship it to their US freight address and they take over shipping it from there.

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of how website cookies work. You'll only need to clear your cookies if you end up logging into your main Amazon account and then try to log into your Amazon stealth account. Make sense right? A lot of this stuff can be deduced with just a little common sense.

I see absolutely no correlation between eBay GSP and shipping to your buyer. You cannot use eBay GSP unless you actually own the item. You cannot ship US Amazon goods from their marketplace overseas. That's it.

I've never claimed to understand how cookies work, which is why I was asking questions regarding cookies. And no, I'm going to have to disagree on this being common sense, and regardless the whole point is not to leave room for error. Which is why I'm asking so I know definitively has to if certain actions will cause my account to get banned seeing as there is no recourse after that point.

As for ebay GSP, I'm not sure why you keep saying it can't be done and that you need to own the item. With that program you are not shipping directly overseas yourself, you are shipping to ebay's US based address at which point they takeover the shipping it internationally. You can do this with any source as long as they ship to a freight forwarding address, which Amazon does. I've done it, it works.
