Social Media is the way to go if you're looking for free targeted traffic. It'll take work though if you're wanting traffic consistently so you'll have to stay active on a regular basis to keep your target market engaged with your site and products. I hope this helps and I wish you luck!

I think you should consider doing some seo. . You can buy some seo service from fiverr, from a guy named "David Schulze" i normally buy his service and they're worth it.

Consider using facebook ads which are a bit cheaper than adwords. I know it's not free but it will help you spread a word and make a start.
For absolutely free traffic, use google alerts.
Use keywords that your audience use/search and then provide a non-spammy solution at forums/yahoo answers etc.
The key is to provide quality and be non-spammy so the posts will stick and gain passive traffic.

If you can afford it I would pay for some posts on a private blog network.
Take a look in the marketplace for some private network services - that will help push your site up the ranks while you learn about other methods
