Good morning to everyone!

I have a problem with one of my web sites. I have been Guest Posting (NOT PBN) for the keywords that I have considered with a low difficulty. And it was working, I had many keywords in the top3 of google ranking. But since May 2021 I have started to lose them from the top3 gradually. My traffic has not had an abrupt decrease but it has dropped a little.

The websites I always select for guest post are not penalized. Their traffic is usually +2K, and their DR +30. There is also no evidence of a sharp drop in traffic in their graphs.

I always maintain a ratio of 2-3 guest post per keyword. It should be noted that the articles are not spinned, but are written by my own team of writers. and we always check the quality of the articles, that there is no plagiarism, etc..

What can I do?

I don't know how to solve this problem.

How old are your site? Do you use same website to guest post with? Keep in mind Google can detect guest post and devalue those link
If a post have something like "Sponsored, or "Guest Post by", "Guest Post Author", Google will devalue these kind of link even if it not nofol

And there is small update in May, so maybe your ranking is dancing because of update

Hello thanks for your answer. My site has 2 years old. No, i don't use same website to guest post. I'm going to check if the content is 'Sponsored'. Thanks for all
Maybe the issue isn't from the guest posts linking to your website but your website has been hit by the May Update?

Is there any drop you have seen at other sites that you own that also used the same guest posting websites?

I only have that website. I can't compare with others website.

Recommend to use long tail keywords also as anchor text from these guest posts.

Thanks for that recommendation.

Most frequently, we see drops because of changes that were made to the website, but they can also be caused by an algorithm update, technical issues, improvements competitors made, SERP lay-out changes or a Google penalty.
Ranking drops are often caused by large. When you've migrated a bunch of pages, rolled out a (responsive) redesign or reworked a lot of content you'll see big fluctuations in your rankings changes to a website.

you should take a closer look of what was changed in the may 2021 update and adapt based on that

How niche-related are the places that you guest post on?

Also, what kind of keywords are your trying to rank?

What I mean by that is, do the guest post have anything to do with the keywords?

And do the keywords lead to content that actually delivers on the search intent behind the keywords?

You have to look at your link building campaign from this point of view.

Everything else will fail.

Why?

Google is focused on user experience

Sure, there may be some wiggle room here for black hat techniques.

But, at the end of the day, given how Google is evolving, you better focus squarely on user experience.

You can use black hat techniques to get an edge on your competition, but this doesn’t mean that you can lose sight of the user.

Put user experience at the center of your campaign and you would be able to find better guest post sources and come up with content that Google will actually like.

Otherwise, you’re just rolling the dice when it comes to ranking with random guest posts.

Focus more on quality instead of quantity.
