Don't know how to move forward

So sorry to hear that you and your family are going through this. My mother has had bone cancer for 7 years and has gone through some pretty rough treatment methods. She lost all of her hair, and has suffered immensely from the pain. But, as someone said above, bone cancer is very survivable today and I will pray for your family that she is one of the ones who beats it. They just did a full body scan on my mom last week and found that it had not gone into any of the organs...which is wonderful news because once it goes into the organs, it's harder to get rid of and it spreads faster.

As the days pass, you will begin to feel better. Time will make things more manageable for both of you. Best of luck...:sorry:

I didn't know that it was much more survivable today. As you can probably tell, I am trying to bury my head in the sand. I guess I should just start looking up some info. Just haven't been able to yet. I will tomorrow.

I learned alot when I went though this. Its amazing what the doc's can do. Its still very scary, especially all the waiting on the different tests, so the best thing you can do is just talk to you mom. It doesn't even have to be about this, she will like talking to you about anything. It can help take both your mind's off this. PM me if you want to talk. I hope you guys get good news soon.
