I did not give him any verification codes. He just had access to my password and email and he managed to change phone, username, password, emailAs per my knowledge no one can change the current number without phone verification. You must have been stupid to gave him the verification code as well, right?

Lots of sites to check if your details have leaked.

Wish I did that but at least I know for next timeyes always activate the 2 time verification method as it prevents lot of people
Those are mostly safe, because the (legit) sites don't receive credit card details from the payment processors, hence they don't have those in record at all, when a leak happens on a site where you made a purchase, your credit card details remain safe. Until the payment processor sites are secure, your credit card details are secure. What i meant when i said payment details is date of purchase, purchase id, purchase amount, this sort of data, these are stored on sites where you purchase stuff, but not the credit card details. Needles to say this kind of info still can be mad valuable for email marketers for instance, when they have a niche, email addresses, purchase dates and amounts belonging to each entry.what does that mean ? I'm in Australia although I believe the hacker was from the US or somewhere they speak Spanish because he started saying some stuff in Spanish at the end. He didn't sound like he had an accent, that's why I think he is from the US.What country are you in? You have chat logs with this person - do they have an accent or anything?
Yeah it sucks although at least I know to be more careful nowSo sorry about that OP
That's good, hopefully you won't have any problems like I didSorry to hear about that OP. But, because of your pain I've added the two-step authentication to my IG. Hopefully hackers like him have fewer targets now.

If you go after him he might land in jail.
