Domain transfer to Namecheap [what is this?]

I transferred my domain name to namecheap about five days ago. So I had to wait for the transfer process to complete from my old registrar to namecheap. Today, boom! It was already completed. But I have a question. I used cloudflare name servers with my old registrar and I was expecting to add the cloudflare name server to namecheap today. What surprised me is that when I logged in to add the cf name servers in namecheap, I saw the cf name servers there already in namecheap without me having to add it manually. It was automatic. Wow, I didn't know how namecheap managed to do automate that swiftly. Such a hassle-free process.

I wouldn't be so impressed with them. I advocated for NC for many years, but lately they've started pulling godaddys.

Someone posted yesterday how NC seized 2 or 3 of his crypto-based domains (they literally stole the domains from the guy's account lol), and 2 months ago they tried to charge me 2.5x the renewal fee for my hosting account. Lucky me that - once again - I had no funds on my debit card (because I've learned my lesson from 2 years ago when another crooked hosting company - mochahost - has tried doing the same), but otherwise I would have paid $153 for my current (stellar plus) membership plan that should have normally costed $58. It wasn't until I showed them the invoice they've sent me in which the renewal cost was correct ($58) that I managed to renew my hosting plan for the right price, otherwise they would have had no conscience issues overcharging me. Gonna move all of my sites out of NC this year, and never do business with them again.

Not to mention that they don't have LetsEncrypt SSL integrated by default and the free SSL they give is for the 1st year only. Some people are OK with paying for SSL but Im not, so for me this is another nail in the coffin

What's the issue here? You required domain transfer and you received 1:1 transfer including NS.

Really? I bet you haven't dealt with terrible Registrars. It's not my first time transfering domains and I have always had to do the Cloudflare NS transfer settings manually.

In any case, that's some good news to me @AngelSeo

Actually it doesn't, some like SAV have default nameservers you can set it to. Some don't, which is weird.

All the big ones like, Dynadot,Namecheap,Namesilo etc do though. Wouldn't really recommend using any others.
