Domain sitewide ban on reddit

Hi,

I own one tube adult site and I was promoting my site on reddit, after a few post, I got sidewide domain ban, I don't really know why, nobody gave me answer. I was trying to contact any admin or moderators on reddit, without luck. Fun part is that I can see other adult webmasters, how they promote their sites without problems.

I would like to ask you guys, is there any chance that my domain will be allowed in future? Or is it permanent? Does anybody know how to contact somebody competent on reddit? Is there anything I can do? Thank you very much in advance.

So there is a LOT of mistakes you could've done when using Reddit, as an active promoter you really need to have your wits about you. Sitewide bans are no joke, and not reversible.

1. You posted using the same account, consistently (Use the 1-10 ratio 'rule', 9 normal posts, one promotional posts).
2. You used blackhat techniques , upvoting your own posts etc.
3. Your site is super spammy/pop-up galore etc. In this case Reddit admins are likely to be a lot less lenient when handing out permanent bans.
4. The moderators of the Subreddit noticed your spam and reported you to the 'admin chat' in this case - there is not coming back.

Again to repeat, Sitewide bans are non reversible, so I wouldn't even bother attempting to unblock your website. Although there are some sneaky tricks you can do to mask the URL - BUT it is even more spammy that way. URL Shortners etc are all banned and quickly removed on Reddit. You can buy another similar URL and redirect it manually using DNS forwarding, but you'll likely encounter the same things in the future.

At least somebody responded :) Thank you GoGuerilla. I only posted more link to my site, my site is without flood of advetisments. Built with top technologies, so I don't understand why. It is really not fair, I contacted other adutl wbmasters on reddit who post their links 5 - 7 a day. They looked at my site and they were not able to give me answer why I got such huge punishement, for no reason...Now I am really upset...Fuck you reddit!

I guess in this case I can only buy new domain and make redirect there. Amazing experience

Pretty easy fix... but you need to figure out why you are being banned in the first place before doing that, so you can avoid it.

But yeah $1 domain redirect is a cheap fix.

Are you sure it's site wide DOMAIN ban? Not account shadow ban or sub-reddit specific ban?
 
I think it is sitewide, because I have tried poste from new user account into other subreddits, my posts were not visible. I have tried post my domain name into chat window and there it is not allowed too...other domains are allowed normally. So I guess domain is dead everywhere

Thank you bargainbed ! This seems to be only solution...So for the others, be carefull with reddit, one day you are happy from traffic, second day you are banned without explanation
 
They won't unban this had happened with me why don't you try using linktr?
 
This happened to me also, there is no way back, at least I don't know how :(

URL shorter, but these get banned very quickly, I had a google dork that found open source unknown link shortners ... I'll see if I can find it

100%. But url shortners are super frowned upon so if your post comes under any scrutiny.. It will be;

- Removed by the moderators of the subreddit
- The url shortner will have a domain wide ban applied by the Admins.

It's definitely a churn and burn method doing that

It's not link shorter please see that thread carefully.
