Domain Name Confusing Me

Hey BHW ROckers,

I've searched for a micro-niche and found one that can be profitable. I'm soon going to buy a domain for it.
THE PROBLEM:
Let us assume I'm targeting "long keyword 123". Now this exact keyword is not available and so I'm screwed. However, I used some brains and found a domain that looks something like this "XXlongkeywordXX123.com".

Now will this keyword help me anyhow in ranking? Should I consider it somewhat exact keyword and work more on the site, or should I move on?

I mean will I be getting any benefit of the domain as it contains the searched keyword. One more thing I would like to tell you is that on the first page of Big G only 2-3 results shows somewhat exact keyword and not the perfect keyword in their domain.

Do you think I can rank for the keyword. Competing pages are around 5000 and exact search results according to Adwords keyword tool is around 1000.


Please help me as this is going to be my 1st website.

Well, my suggestion right now would be the following. Go to Senuke website and register for the current available 7 day demo. After you do, signup for the paypal subscription so that you will have access and be able to register the demo.

After doing so, start using the keyword analysis tool that senuke provides, which tells you if it is either easy or hard to rank for that specific keyword. After day 2, go to paypal and cancel the subscription.

NOTE, make sure that if you just opened a paypal account, do so with a walmart or other prepaid debit card which will not over draft in case of forgetting the subscription.
Do not even bother to remove the debit card from paypal, as even if you remove it from your account, they keep it in the system for nearly 5 years, and if they have to overdraw the account because you forgot to cancel the subscription, they will do so (believe me, I know this from experience and my sister in law worked at bank of america)

Anyhow, this is just my suggestion. You can also try and give it a shot, the most that this experiment might cost you is about a good $50 to $100 if you want to do it right.
