Hi guys,
I would like to see your inputs and/or suggestion(s) on the issue.
The site's domain name had been held by Godaddy due to lack of proof of identification by the owner (Yes, the site is used for some shady service).
The domain name that is being held had started to gain rankings from Page 4-6 in over a month.
Now, they had purchased a new domain name with the same title, just a different TLD.
It's been two months and the new same domain name with just a different TLD isn't gaining any rank movement on the keywords it has before but only gain first page for the new keyword that hasn't been mentioned on-page wise.
So, I was suspecting that Google might be considering the new one as still a duplicate of the old one. Do you guys think the same?
Also, what would be the best way to go around this problem?
It would be easy to just do a 301redirect if they have the old domain name but they had gotten a response from Godaddy instating that the domain name will be out of their holding once it expires.
Thanks in advance for your input(s) and Happy Prosperous New Year to all of you!
