Domain flipping! Need your help!

• So recently I have been reading aricles about how to flip domains and how it is the internet "real estate".

• So I was just typing in random domains into godaddy and found that a two word 8 letter .com that in my opinoin is pretty "good" that was only 12.99.
  So what I did was to ran it on some estimate websites godaddy one of them and all of them said that the domain was over 1000 dollars? Did I just go really lucky or if I buy it and put it up on flippa or sedo no one will buy it?
  
  I also searched on google just the name of the domain and there is over 25 pages of it.
  I also went and checked the history of the domain on whois and it had never been registerd is this something good?
  
  Help me out please?
