Registered a domain.

Will be using a funnel builder - mostly clickfunnels or systeme. io

But I was thinking instead of directly adding the domain to the funnel builder, should I put behind Cloudflare and then connect to ClickFunnels?

Will this method help a bit from bad bots / hacker attempts?

why not give it a try and let us all know how it goes?

It might help. Cloudflare has a "Bot Threat Score", it gives visitors with low score Captcha or even blocked access.

Look guys this is often I get when I want visit websites but cloudflare is showing foirst for around 5-10 second this;

"we check if this connection is secure".....here this example (screenshot below) is from hostingsource.com/ it's showing the cloudflare message in german language.
Do you need such a crap of free cden to make your site down for additional 5-8 seconds? Do you think your visitors like to wait? I bet they not.
But most of you will not recognize it because it's good it's free , the best cdn ever....I not want such a cdn on my website.

Yes cloudflare helps a lot.

out of the box settings are good to use. But to increase level of protection you need to be very careful in settings as wrong settings may block genuine customers.

PSharma:

you like it when free cloudflasre is showing you this (my screenshot above) to your website visitors so they must wait another 5-8 seconds to see your sitze?

This captcha is not presented to all visitors.
Only high risk visitors.

what portion of visitors be treated high risk depend on your secutiy level.

PSharma , ok then it is the security level settings of this website who is showing this message?
You have security settings on free cloudflare?

Granular controls are not available on free cloudflare but you won't see many captchas on the free tier either.

It's a double edged sword,as much as I hate cloudflare as a user, as a webmaster it simplifies my life to a good extent.

A site I used to manage had a ton of bot traffic, to the point that 65% of my host's monthly bandwidth was being used to serve content to bots. Cloudflare bought that down to <5%. The free CDN is decent too.

Try to reduce the security to the minimum and check again

today I've done some research, the cloudflare forum is full with this topic. Customers not get a clear answer from CF maybe only th epaid subscription customers.
Some saying in CF dashboard- security turn browser security check ( or similar name...) turn that off. I saw on a forum today again this security check from cloudflare, I checked their ssl padlock it shows that the ssl has this TLS 1.3 maybe this is the culprit?

This thing I saying again make many CF customers pissed off when thi shappen on their website and not know how to fix it, or the other side when they want visit a website and must waiting long eternal 8 seconds ......

I say it again I not judge you people who are using cloudflare, but you want not seen it, this is bad crap of an cdn.
My experience last year I tested some cnd none of them gives you this piece of crap to make your visitors waiting long, and getting high bounce rates which will drop your seop rankings down. But you not realize this dear people, your are brainwashed by the so called "best free worldwide cdn".

It would be the same as blaming godaddy for all their bad stuff doing and their high renewal rates, but praise Siteground who has much higher renewal rates, today on a germany siteground website their lowest plan starts at 1,99€ first month, after that the renewal is 6x times higher = 12,99€ !!! Double renewal rates as godaddy.

What on hell is happen with you dear people?

My advise: not use cloudflare there are way better serious cdn providers out there on the web.
Having a good fast web host and oyu not need a cdn not for us audience and europe, maybe with time when your websites reaches 50.000 or more visitors a day, then a cdn is helpful otherwise not.

Happy restful blessing pentecost !
