Hi guys, let say I want to promote things within USA, I bought domain with godaddy but hosting will be from my country (EU, really cheap) - will it affect SEO and page rankings? From all sources I found in internet I know for SEO its better to have domain bought in place where I wann a promote product but what If I want to webhost it from diffrent country? :)

This has been a question which I would also like to know, as I live in the UK but hosting is much cheaper in the US. The answers I have been getting are, if you have for example a UK website with a US domain and have it hosted somewhere else, you will not get ranked in the UK Google searches. However, if you have a UK domain and have it hosted with a US then you will show up in the UK results, but will probably affects the SERPS.

So, I guess it depends on the domain you are using too. But I think somebody with more experience should clarify this issue.

To be honest mate, I asked many SEO experts and nobody know it for sure. Guess google supremacy is a mistery for all of regular people :) I wont risk so I decided to buy one webhosting to manage many sites in States and I will be bying domains only from US providers since Im targeting only US land.

Hosting country will not effect in your rank. But, How many websites hosted on the same IP and IP address class may effect your rank.
