i have 12 year old domain,
and site is 5-6 months old.

and i am targetting a keyword and i need some help/suggestions......so can i pm u?

is there any way to build solid trust on a 'newer' domain that someone might not think of?

The best way to build solid trust on a new domain is sprinkling deep links over time randomly over time. These can be profile links but try to avoid making them too spammy.

I want to buy domains with domain age.

When i look at the site deleted domains it lets you search for domains that are going to expire or domains that have already been deleted.

Once deleted i cannot find out any information about these domains using the free tools online.

I would like to know if I buy a deleted domain will I be able to "reinstate" the domain age if I host it and start building a new site on it?

Is there a certain period of time that these domains (once deleted) loose all of their domain age?

do they loose their domain age the minute the get deleted?

I found some good domains that were just deleted on the 16th of dec.

Is it worth it to buy this domain, will I get anything from it?

as long as a domain has been indexed in google at one point, waiting a few years will have it's benefits.

I don't know if it was indexed but it is not now.

Can you explain the difference between dropped, expired, expiring and deleted.
Or any other "levels" a domain goes through.

I was reading about this and it gets a little confusing because of all the different levels a domain goes through after the owner lets it fall off.

And most importantly, when should or can I buy these domains and not lose the age?

I read that they must be indexed in your earlier posts which is easy enough to check.

that's a good question, and I have outranked .coms using trustrank and .info domains but I haven't had too much experience with it. I would say that that well aged .info domains do carry an advantage over new .coms.

I've got a PR3 domain that is 5 years old. It ranks #2 on Google for one particular keyword that has 3.5mil results.

That said, I don't really rank that well for anything else.

I sell a physical product (lots of different products actually). We'll call them widgets.

I'm looking to take my SEO to the next level and start promoting each widget by name and deep link page. Do you have any suggestions about how to do that without getting sandboxed by Google? I own Scrapebox and have used it with some success, but really don't know how much is too much. Any input would be appreciated.

Anyways, godaddy has a lot more domains to choose from. I was wondering is there a way to buy or transfer a domain from godaddy?

I looked at a domain in the auctions and I could get it for like 8 bucks (buy now) and i also found it on another site but they wanted a min. bid of $60

Can I transfer registrars once I buy a domain?

The godaddy auctions of expired domains, arent all of those being sold by someone? Since they all have a starting price next to them.

So do you always buy the aged domains that have other bids on them and are being sold on the godaddy auctions?

Or

Is there a way to find aged domains that will expire but without people noticing so you could get them for like 7 bucks?

And if so, do you just do a backorder just in case, or do you try your luck and just wait and hope that no one else gets the backorder?


I checked out freshdrop.net and its like 90 bucks or something per month, way to expensive for me. Any other sites?

Also what do you think of DomainFace Pro? Do you use it or do you use any other automated programs?

Kuribo/buffer that I would be talking about would be something like say blogspot.com, wordpress.com, squidoo.com, etc.

That should be really easy to promote in terms of SEO. Add some meta tags and <h1> and <h2> tags on the page you are trying to rank for. You can use scrapebox if you want but most of SEO that I do (trustrank SEO) doesn't use major blasts and it a little more "grey hat". The best thing to do would be to create an article on say ezines and a few other directories and either blast those with SB. Those web 2.0 properties would link to a deep page for you.

godaddy auctions are domains that people haven't bothered to renew and godaddy has chosen to cash in and auction them off automatically (because they're smart). And as far as I know most people aren't looking for aged domains, it's not even a listed option on godaddy.

Besides domain age. What factors in order to you look for?

Amount of searches? PR?

I sorted through Godaddy auctions by the domain age, making it only 5-15 years and then sorted by highest bids first since I figured those are the best with bids.

Most of them get either very low exact keyword searches or are keywords that are hard to monetize or create a site for....

What do you suggest are the best options to find good ones that are worth purchasing?

I have a cust that picked up a domain and I am doing website and seo for. I saw in my seo bar that the domain is 8 years old. The cust wants to promote hard and fast...lol What would you recomend be safest way to take advantage of the domain age in this case.
