Dogpile backlinks

Hello,

i'm looking to know how the f* you can create dogpile backlinks.
Where i'm working, i can see that my boss website is full of dogpile backlinks.
With a nice 80 DR these backlinks are pretty cool.

But here it is, i know that dogpile is a meta search engine who grab resources from every engines, but how can you're website get so much different backlinks from dogpile like this ?

Here's one technique I use a lot. Always works.

You can see the list of link reffering to a page of the website, but how and why is that page creating so many backlinks ?
i can't put the direct link but anyway it leads to a blank page.

Nothing wrong with it as far as I know, I just have not seen dogpile mentioned since I could read without glasses.

It obviously comes from image search.

Probably all that is required is to rank in image search.

I personally think it's very temporary and hold no real long-term value.

Ok thanks, but why are these photos referenced by dogpile specifically ? Because i run another website where you can find some images but we have no dogpile backlinks like that
