Apple, uber, airbnb and many more sites use wp. Imo wp is great for seo.

Everything else that you might want to install comes for free, and tutorials to properly set it up can be found all over the Internet.

Out of the box it is okay for SEO, but it can be a resource hog depending on the hosting setup. It is much better if optimized correctly. Then again, just about any site can be good for SEO if customized enough.
