Does tumblr still allows AdSense ads?

I have a tumblr blog with Google Analytics installed in it and it is receiving around 2K views per day so I was thinking can I monetize it by using AdSense in 2019?

Your blog will be banned at the first report, it's only a matter of luck. It may take a month, 6 months, a year. Tumblr is keen to ban even without reason and to not respond at tickets so you could try to monetise it anyway. Would be a shame to grow it and then all wasted without getting even a penny from it.

how do people monetize tumblr blogs nowdays? Selling reblogs? is that a big business?

Drive traffic from there to somewhere else that you've monetized.

I'm not selling reblogs because most of my blogs were adult and with the recent changes your reblogs are seen only by your followers (can't guarantee a WOW result ). You could try Popads or Popcash in the theme / posting direct CPA links / links going outside tumblr....any of those can bring you some money or some ban hammer.
I don't know what others are doing but i'm not reblogging posts that are not into my blog's niche meaning strict combinations like tits for tits, lebian-lesbian, BBW-BBW, BBC-BBC, teen-teen and so on. You may be a hairy ass fan but big tits are turning you off .

If you have a SFW blogs i think adsense is still a great way to monetize tumblr traffic.
