At Snapchat you don't have to "watermark" your images or videos with your domain, to make people type it into their browser etc.

You can simply add your link to every story post, users swipe up the image/video and will be directly redirected to your landing page. This is a huge booster and advantage.

I'm new to snapchat affiliate marketing. Is the idea you post pictures/videos on your story, then link them to a page where they download more pictures?

Or is it where you link them to a product?

You seem very knowledgeable in this field so I'd appreciate any insight

If you are into the "dating" niche, you could promise them more pictures, videos, "something hot" etc. And your link would redirect a) to your landing page with some prelander (and then to an affiliate program) b) directly to this affiliate program. Some people call this "eWho...". ;-)

If you would like to promote regular CPA offers (giveways, trial offers, abos, downloads etc.) you could post pictures of yours (your model) together with the targeted product and then redirect to the CPA landing page.

The audience of Snapchat is the second "dumbest" I've experienced so far. ;-)

Oh yes, absolutely. I tried several emulators back in 2017. None of them is really stable, no matter if you use even Linux or macOS to run them.

And just imagine what will happen when you want to run 30, 50, 100 Snapchat accounts at the same time. ;-)

What in your opinion works best in 2018? Should I be trying with regular CPA offers or be going with adult networks?

If I were you, I would do both. "Don't put all your eggs into one basket only." ;-)

Example: A nice, blonde, young girl holding an iPhone X in her hand would be a bigger conversion booster than a picture just showing an iPhone X, or a fat, old, ugly man. ;-)

I used a maximum of 3 accounts with one smartphone so far.

But I know people which run 500, 1000 and more accounts at the same time - without a smartphone or tablet.

So Snapchat doesn't care if you keep an eye on the hardware IDs.

Can you use auto redirect with your landing page to our affiliate offer, or does Snapchat detects that and bans your account if you post it as a swipe link in your story?

You can use auto redirects, even some in a row. Snapchat doesn't care about this.

Does ban happen only If someone reports you (because they see you are a fake girl for ex)? then you get banned for 24h ?

Sometimes nothing happens for weeks, sometimes they ban only 1 account for 12 hours.

It really depends on the amount of friends (the more friends, the higher the risk of reports).

And another hint: Don't upload your story posts (images and videos) for the duration of 24 hours, limit them to 3 hours, 6 hours etc.

So let's say I am banned for 24h. After those 24 hours,am I able to post a picture with link without problem until some other guy reports?

If another report happens, is it again a 24h ban? Or is there a risk of a definitive ban of the account?

I never experienced more than 1 ban per account so far. So I can't answer this. Maybe I did something wrong? Haha.
