I wanna start a blog, but wondering if I would be wasting my time since I read that SEO is dead…does blogging work in 2024?
Or what other method would be better?

Blogging still works in 2024, especially with quality content and good SEO—long-tail keywords and backlinks are important. If you're after faster engagement, platforms like YouTube or TikTok could also be great alternatives for driving traffic.

Blogging still works in 2024 if you focus on high-quality content and SEO, but combining it with other methods of omnichannel like YouTube, social media, or email newsletters can boost your reach and engagement.

This kind of post shows up on BHW every few weeks.

Some people claim that SEO is dead while others keep making money from it. If it interests you, I would suggest giving it a shot. In the worst case, you will have a nice journey and gain some valuable experience.

A better way to put it is:
SEO is ever-changing.

SEO is not over or dead, its only getting much complexer. every google update i get grayer

Please.. When will people stop with the "high quality content" stuff.

It's so meaningless.

You may as well say "If you focus on content that will rank in Google".

High quality content does NOT rank.

Because no one can define what 'high quality content is'.

And users don't WANT high quality content. They want easy to digest content.

Users with patience and intelligence want high quality content.

How many people searching on Google do you think fit both patience and intelligence?

SEO is not dead. But don't put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify on Facebook, pinterest too.
