Does reinstalling the whole site affects ranking?

I purchased a PHP script from code canyon and launched a new website smskull .com in January 2020. I have posted around 6 SEO optimized articles on my website approx 5-6k words both in April and May. But for months Google shows only 8-9 keywords in the search console. I did all the things to improve the indexing of my site but nothing works.
Whenever the vendor launches a new update I have to reinstall the whole site as well as the content. Does reinstalling a whole website and content, again and again, affect ranking?
From the last 3 months, I didn't install any new update of the script and just leave it as it is. Now I started to see some new keywords in the search console but not much it just went from 8-9 keywords to approx 20.

Basically you’re just updating your theme because of changes made in Child theme dont think there should be any issues

All my sites are on WordPress and I never faced any indexing issues before this is the first time I am working on a site based on PHP and almost 8 months are gone still no new keywords are showing in the search console.
