Does PayPal double check a SSN with official authorities?

Just wondering, let's say we have to following case: Someone's PayPal business account (US-based) gets limited for whatever reason. If he submits then the required docs which includes a SSN document, will PayPal double check the existence of the SSN with official authorities?

I tried faking it. It won't work

What does that mean. You entered a faked SSN by creating a PayPal business account or did you enter one and uploaded a faked SSN doc to lift a limitation?

Tried to lift a limitation. If you have a PayPal business account you don't need an ssn you only need the tax documents for the business.

I have a PayPal business account (US-based, Business Type: Individual) with VBA/VCC verification but no SSN in it. Got limited now for whatever reason.
They require now that I enter a SSN and upload a driver license, address proof (utility bill) + SSN document.
I have no SSN but there are some guys around here (e.g. secondeye/forwarderz) which provide SSN docs even with a random SSN.
Nevertheless I don't know what happens when I upload such a SSN document, whether the PayPal support staff will just have a look at it or checks the existence of the SSN.

Something very clearly covered in SecondEye's website. I don't think anyone is going to be clearer than that.

completely random #'s won't work if you're trying to provide a fake SSN. SSN# includes info on what year and where it was issued. Also, if you don't provide a random #, there is a good chance that number is already issued to someone else, which makes providing a that # as SSN a potential felony.

Yes. Paypal does verify SSNs against the name. and address.
