Does "hack" keyword in a domain name affect it's reputation on G's eye?

Just found a good domain(scraping) and I ought to create blog around it. And thinking of rolling adsense once posts get settled as well.
Domain: has no pbn vibe on web archive and anchors used were mostly naked. Based on tech tips.

It all depends.

I bought a expired domain few months ago with include "hack" part in it. Finally I realized it was penalized by Google. it's not about hack word, that person who use that expired domain to build spammy type website. like adding crack tools with malware's.. etc
So it's all about usage of the domain. nothing else matters as per my view.

No, the word "hack" has no Google effect. There are many popular sites using "hack" like LifeHacker and some on the list by @gbugmenot.

"Hack" is now a well used term to mean "innovative" or "shortcut". It is used in general discussions with terms like "growthhacking", "lifehack", "learninghack", studyhack", etc.

If anything it is a good keyword addon when looking for a brandable domain: <keyword>hack.com, <keyword>hacking.com, hacking<keyword>.com, etc.
