Google now ignores many links.

Everything that comes out of this man's mouth is a lie, he is Matt Cutts 2.5 and searchengineland (like MOZ) are Google's mouthpieces, you should NOT take anything these people claim as truth and do your own testing, wanna know if these links are being counted? Here is a simple test:
Get a low comp keyword, not to low it need some competition because you wanna test how strong these worthless links (according to John) really are.
It is that simple to debunk John but the sad thing is nobody will be doing this test and John can keep on trucking with his lies and propaganda of build and they will come
- Get a parasite like blogger or wordpress, create a simple site dedicated to that keyword you selected ad some content a 1000/1500 words should be enough, do all the standard things like policies and such.
- Wait at least four weeks so you get a good sense on where your parasite is ranking.
- Now open up GSA and blast the parasite with all these worthless links.
- Check the results and i am willing to bet that you will be surprised with the outcome of this simple test.
To answer OP, yes it still works for your higher tiers, if you haven't bought it yet try out some blasts and see for yourself before you invest a couple of 100 bucks
Hi fb3003,
Thanks for the elaboration and I must that does require some amount of work.
I've somewhat been of the opinion that with good manual spun article that are highly readable, GSA can be used for building links at Tier1 level.
Looking through the profile links of many of those in the top ranking in my niche, I find that well above 75% of the links coming to their sites have hugely spun article that are not really that readable and yet these sites are ranking.
In my opinion, I believe that articles can work in Tier1 if the content is hugely readable.
Regarding your Tier1 structure, how many Web2.0 for example do you normally setup under it?
Would appreciate your further comment on the above.
Not sure why I left out the concept of url shortners. I got the concept from @Ozzyzig
- money site
- tier 1 (manual creation: PBN, web 2.0)
- url shortners (manual creation) [this is my tier 2]
- wiki/article (GSA) [this is my tier 3]
- forum, guest post, comment post (GSA) [This is my tier 4]
sometimes, I even go more extreme than above and do this
- money site
- tier 1 (manual creation: PBN, web 2.0)
- url shortners (manual creation) [this is my tier 2]
- another round of URL shortners (manual creation) [this is my tier 3] - Mostly bitly since it allows creation of bitly url shortners on top of other url shortners.
- wiki/article (GSA) [this is my tier 4]
- forum, guest post, comment post (GSA) [This is my tier 4]
