Does google take longer to rank sites?

Are you still following this method? It has been about 6 months since this post, hence asking.

Yes I am.

How has your experience been is terms of stickiness of the ranks achieved with your method - do the pages that you had ranked say a year back or say 8-9 month back with this method, still maintain their ranks (assuming no link loss)?

Yes, at least 90-95% of my keywords are exactly where they were a year ago. The few that dropped a few positions (like 1-3 or 2-5, etc) were keywords I never targeted in the first place.

If not, till how long (how many months) did the gained ranks hold fortress approx, in your experience?

I have some keywords going back 18 months that are still ranking exactly like they use to. And I have a couple sites 4+ years old that I was very aggressive with back in 2012. Back then I outsourced all my SEO. The guy I used was great (for 2012). Would slam my sites with PBN links and I'd hit #1 in 6 weeks. Then around 2014 Google slapped his whole network. Those 2 sites dropped like rocks. Around Feb 2015 I started my own PBN. Avoiding all the lazy mistakes he made. Then summer of 2015 I got both those sites back up in the top 5 + 2 other sites and I have 2 younger sites around pages 2-4 that probably won't hit the top 5 till Nov-Dec.

I'd never say that ranks will hold forever. But I've seen enough PBNs in my life from both competitors and highly respected vendors to know my sites will be ranking a very very long time.

And please give some idea about the competition metrics/numbers of a couple of the toughest (most difficult) pages that you could rank with this method? I am only asking for "normal high-level" statistic details -both for your and the competitor's site that would help a lot of us, I am sure.

Thanks a lot, in anticipation of your response!

The best example I can give is adwords competition. And I didn't know this till about a year ago. But the single toughest keyword I rank for is the 28Xth (top 300) most competitive keyword in the world. There was a list shared right on this forum, I saw one of my exact keywords in the top 300, shit my pants and thought "if I knew this when I started I would have NEVER targeted this niche" which was a real eye opening experience for me (ignorance as virtue). Then I noticed my 2nd keyword was around the 318th most competitive in the world. I'd say a lot of my most competitive keywords have to fall somewhere between the top 300 - top 1000. One of my keywords has like a $165.85 CPC.

When I noticed this I wrote a lengthy guide that I was gonna share on here. Since I can prove (to a moderator or someone) that those are my sites. But out of paranoia I wound up sharing it with noone. Then I thought "I'll share it for JR VIPs only". But again weighed risk vs benefit, there's no benefit and only risk. THEN I thought "I'll sell it for a price most people can't afford". But that violates the main reason I post on here (transparency). Practically everywhere I am on the net I'm trying to sell something to someone in some way. On BHW, I might have a sig but I don't try to push anything on anyone. I can tell people to fuck off. Tell them their PBN is shit. I can admit to people I'm an idiot in many respects w/out it effecting any funnels I own.

At the same time I promised too many people I'd release it. So my own guilt will prob shame me into doing so. Most likely before my next vaca when I know I'll be off the forum for weeks. And even then I'll post it in the dead of night when I know most Americans are asleep.

I made my site a couple days ago. Made my first article about 20 hours ago with a search volume of about 1300. On yahoo and bing im ranked on the second page. On google im nowhere to be found.

Well I can only be found by doing intitle "keyword" and past 24 hours". But not past week or month (even though there are only a few results).

So do i just have to wait a bit?

And is it also easier to rank on bing? The competition is pretty much the same on bing/yahoo and google. So just wondering where I will be placed.

Guess im doing some pretty good seo and keyword research to be placed on second page for a site created 2 days ago.

Hi I'll give you 11 steps to ranked top 10 on google and I'm sure that it is very useful.
1. Create semantic core – a list of targeted keywords
2. Find out the cost of Top 10 for your keywords
3. Prepare a detailed link building plan
4. Build links gradually and steadily
5. Get backlinks with different, unique anchor texts & different keywords
6. Use synergic effect of Google Penguin 3.0 when 1800 links can make you rank #1 for 25000 of keywords
7. Surround your links with content
8. Get backlinks from pages with various SB Rank
9. 20% of links should point to the inner pages of your website
10. You won’t rank high without on-page optimization
11. Never give up before you complete your link building plan

yes...depending on the quality of content, seo etc, google may take some time...(sometimes even months)

There are many factors that might affect the time for your website to rank higher on a search engine, especially in Google. The quality of your content, and how often you are posting new ones can be one of the factors. Also, a clean domain and old domains (old and trusted ones) are more likely to rank higher. But whatever the factors may be, you just need to wait patiently. We all know that it always takes time to get good rankings on Google though.

It will take some time to get the good rank in google so keep doing your work on the site like on-page optimization.Build the links with less spam score, use only high-quality handwritten contents,And you can get links for your site from guest blogs and high authority sites.Check with the site loading speed and bounce rate of the site.Because Bounce rate may less your site ranking. Good Luck!!

On BHW, I might have a sig but I don't try to push anything on anyone. I can tell people to fuck off. Tell them their PBN is shit. I can admit to people I'm an idiot in many respects w/out it effecting any funnels I own.

Lol!!! But anyway, I see where you are coming from. Love the forum because one can be transparent and outspoken here, and yet remain respectful to the truth and the folks we meet here!

My best thanks for your response. The post that I quoted from you earlier was one of the best I have read in recent times, and I know I shall go back to read it again and again, and try out the method to the best extent I can, on my niches. It is golden to me (and I have been in business and doing SEO back since 2009, so have seen a lot around).

Just wait ... Yahoo is no Google :-) Google only wants quality sites on the first page. However, you can bypass with some blackhat tricks, but if you rank fast, you will drop fast if u use unfair tools. I'd rather wait a few weeks up to 2 months (you should see some progression) and after that I decide what I could do better.

Yes, Google will take some time to rank your site. Update your site regularly with quality and unique content. Google always looks for quality content. Build some quality backlinks to your site and share your site on social medias like Google +, Facebook and Twitter. It will help you to get some good ranking.

yes google is sometimes pretty slow with ranking do proper seo and linkbuilding .

Dude, it takes time before Google gives you a high ranking on their search results. But providing your site with a good content and some SEO strategies can give you a + points.

Things have changed massively since I replied on this thread earlier in the year. Indexing is a completely different ballgame now. PBNs only from now as SER etc just don't have the same effect any more, or are very difficult to index the links now and a waste of resources as I reckon far too many people have disavowed the generic platforms in SER so it's just not as effective. I had 5 dedis running SER 24/7 contextuals only, and ranked lots of sites with SER only but not now, I gave up on it a few months back and although will try it again I can't see it being much different to April/May.
