Does google analyze the widgets of a wordpress page when it is determining the seo value and how to rank it?

    In what way?

Can I put some copy in the widget and expect it rank?

look at the source code for the page and you will see what google sees. Simple as that.

I do not think that widgets have any impact on ranking.

Well yes, if you are saying it like that? Would it follow the source code through out the site and see where all information leads?

The answer you gave is very vague sorry.

I am using seopressor to check the pages and it does not see them, but I wasn't sure if google would.

Widgets has an impact whatever is the way you add them...

It modifies the sources as TNphoneman implictly said.

It changes some SEO factors such as loading time, internal netlinking, outbound links, and keywords density.

It can be as good as it can be bad

    Alright that makes more sense.
So keep them simple and don't blow them up with plugins and other stuff.
