Does Google detect spun content?

it works fine, whoever claims that spun content doesnt work (also for long term) has never tried it properly.
i never got a penalty for spun content in over a decade of using it. i have many sites up and ranking for years that are completely auto generated.
if its complete garbage content and not cloaked then you will only get problems when other jealous webmasters rat you out and you get a manual review.
another example is that many big movie sites use auto generated content for their movie/tv ep descriptions and they all rank long term.
its mainly article writes who want you to buy their articles that spread this propaganda that spun content is bad lol

There's nothing wrong with that for say 1 page.
People will quote articles, or share pages and give credit as a reference point.

Imagine a Press Release service, they share the same content onto 10, 100, 1000 news outlets.

That's literally what I wanted to say. Spun content works for me and the SERP is full of websites that have nothing but nonsense generated "articles". Especially in the download niche.
Off course eventually a website backed by that kind of content will (or won't) be taken down but considering it costs $0 it is still better than buying content for your download site if it contains 1000s of pages.

Thanks so your advice is replicate one post max between my blog and medium. And for other post they should be spun or rewritten before posting to medium?
 
This is interesting, I have been running a spinner for a few years now and I do pretty well in regards to traffic... how do you know if you were penalized? FYI These auto spinner content made an absolute mess that I am currently trying to clean up... 15,000 post, so if they need to read the content then definitely stay away.

but still......... Lets all pretend that content is king and links dont do shit, its the content quality that ranks you. I heard that google has employees who read content all day long of each newly indexed website to decide if the content is spun or well researched and written by exclusive journalist. It must be true because content is the ultimate king!!

I've also never been penalized for spun content. Just be smart about it. However I wouldn't use it on a money page/site. I'm not saying it wouldn't work since I see it every now and then in my niche but YMMV.
 
Google is not nearly as smart as people give it credit for. Many people here are affiliated with or sell article writing services. In the long run, it's better to have quality content because then you are protected from manual review which is what gets most sites with spun content. If you do it smartly you can still get by with spun.
 
I'm sure everyone has some sort of budget for content. It's best to have the money-site content hand-written by a professional copywriter. At the end of the day, it's pure business, or in other terms "as you sow so shall you reap".

Not necessarily. I spin a ton of my content and have never had an issue from doing so. That being said, I don't simply run some spinner software and leave it to chance that some of it makes enough sense to pass any potentially random audit or pass by their bots, unscathed. Rather, I invest time into manually spinning my content, ensuring that all possible variations make perfect (or at least perfect with respect to my understanding of the English language), causing me to easily spend an hour on spinning one body of content, to not only give me a great peace of mind, but also, to further boost whatever it is I'm using said content for, to create sustainable links that don't get deindexed. It's worth it, in my opinion.

But yes, if you're unwilling to endure this madness, you're correct. Spun content will likely be detected.

So what is the best article spinner software or web form version out there, Specially people who are using spun content on their main sites, please list in numerical orders.

There are spinners that may make the content so unique that it will not be flagged as duplicate content by the search engines, however, the end result of such a heavy spin job will usually be an unreadable pile of gibberish that may be flagged as low quality content, given that nowadays search engines not only check for duplicate content but also the quality of the content.
