does domain tld has any effect on the https://ads.digitalpoint.com/go.php?k=seo?
will domain line cool.news get same results as coolnews.com ?

yes it does have impact

Google secret formula is something like below
Number of Normal Websites on that TLD / Number of shitty or spammy websites on that TLD = x
if x<1 dump it else bump it

I've tried a less popuar TLD before, and seemed to be a bit worse in terms of ranking. But could've been other factors though, hard to say.
