Does Domain Authority Matter When Creating Backlinks on Local Sites?

Hello everyone,
I have a question. If I create backlinks on local websites like .co.uk or .com.au, do those local sites help with SEO? And in this case, does Domain Authority still matter? I'm a bit confused about this, so please share your thoughts.

It does. But If the site is so relevant to your niche and you are getting on the exact page you want on that website because it will create more authority for your business then it doesn't matter how much DA it got.

On the other hand, higher DA domains do have a higher impact when creating backlinks.

Yes, backlinks from local sites like .co.uk or .com.au can help SEO, especially if your business targets those regions, because they add local relevance and trust.

Domain Authority isn’t a Google ranking factor, but it’s still useful as a quick way to judge a site’s strength. A backlink from a high-DA local site is generally more valuable than one from a low-DA site.
 
I think domain authority matters a lot. Links from high authority non niche sites also works just fine let alone niche relevant links.

Local links can be very effective, especially when they’re niche-relevant. Domain authority still plays a role, but local relevance often has a stronger impact on rankings.
