Take it up a notch and create another page explaining at the top "XYZ" - Don't send them only a coupon code, send them to another landing page saying here's your discount plus more. Give them the idea that the funnel is alive or give them the idea that they are getting something. Switch up that landing page number two to be smaller and full of social proof. First lander is the big lander but the second is focusing only on social proof, giving them the discount, and a bonus (assuming that they have read and got hyped from the first lander so add the email discount option at the bottom of the first landing page) Main goal is trying to get that first sale from them and then once they do it they get the first offer(s) for the up sale and are now added to another autoresponder selling the up sales for that product if they didn't buy the up sale one, and two, etc. Depends what you're selling and if it's a micro saas with many features you can split up into up sales. Some sellers sell nothing in their up sales. I have purchased a up sale and it was a PDF talking about bing paid search traffic and that was a total rip off. It was a guide to unlimited profit how were making $10k a month.I'm thinking of doing that for my main website.
1. Send people to the page that presells the product
2. Show a discount code if they submit their email address
3. Send them the discount code and follow up with future emails related to the product, but also future products related to the same industry/category/niche.
