I was just curious if anyone here at BHW use the Artisteer software?

It can be used for
  • Blogger
  • Joomla
  • Wordpress
  • Drupal
  • Html
etc. I have used it for a few of my sites. Pretty straight forward. Just curious if their are any other users.

I used to use it ....used for my first joomla site.....now I use it only for color combinations for a site and nothing else.I ve since switched to wordpress only and IMO It spits out crappy code ...and not necessary for WP

I use it for most of my new adsense sites. I just can't seem to find any more good themes, and I can't code for shit so I can't really edit already existing ones to my liking, so it's useful for me.

Also, I like to vary the theme for each site

Just a head's up to OP...

We generally don't post 'shooting the breeze' threads in the Member Downloads area.

That's not to say that if you share something it won't turn into a shooting the breeze session.

But they shouldn't start out that way.

Take a look at the forum areas on the left-hand side of the page. I can see several that would fit your topic.

The Lounge is the fallback for almost anything.

Use it myself on many projects. It has limitations and is not very fleiable. It gives u ready made stlye sheets etc. Saying that if you spend time on each design you can get sites that look good and if your sellin websites, most clients wont quibble.

tis ok paid themes maybe better.

i love it, although if your looking for award winning design you might not want to use it. i just use it for adsense sites.

i like how you can customize everything just about, i have the older version but i hear that the newer one is much better. im going to have to check that out

It's great for quick simple sites (adsense, cheap customer sites, etc)

Does have a few limitations that I normally have to edit the template code manually for after it's finished in artisteer.

Problem then if after I make changes outside artisteer I can't edit anything inside artisteer without reapplying external changes. It needs some form of exception or something for custom code and edits to make it really viable.
