Hello,

After chatting with a few people over time it gets really hard to go back and find a specific message or remember what was said earlier.

Since Snapchat chats either disappear or get saved in different ways depending on settings because of this things can feel a bit disorganized after a while.

Sometimes I even forget what we talked about just a few days ago because there is no proper history to check.

How do you keep track of important chats on Snapchat without losing the context?

Honestly the screenshot route works but it gets messy fast once you have hundreds of them with no way to search. What I do is keep the chat saved (tap and hold the message to save it permanently in thread) and then for the really important ones I just copy the text into a simple google doc per person, dated. Takes 10 sec and it's actually searchable later unlike a camera roll full of screenshots.

@Ranking Pilot one thing to watch... saved messages only stick if both sides have it set right, so the other person can still unsave their end. So for anything you really cant lose, the doc copy is safer imo.

I got your point and I also use the same method now.

Just screenshot the messages; Snapchat doesn't save the texts forever. They do expire unless you screenshot them.
