Yes, What you pointed out is 100 % right. Content matters the most. But if the situation demands, we can even create a fancy site without compromising on SEO. It is possible by choosing the best themes and page builders for a dynamic site. In case of a static site, technology in which site developed matters.

A site does not need to be fancy. As long as it looks nice and is easy on the eyes, that is how I like it.

depends on the concept and the target audience. nobody wants to channel a doctor through a fancy website. but would love to buy toys through a fancy one.

In my opinion it depends on potential clients, so if goods are simple so the website should be in minimalist style
