Many of us delete our "cookies" on a daily basis for various activities, and it works great. However, some sites can easily ban you forever without your IP, username, or other identifying features. How do they do it? Flash cookies! You can manage your flash cookies at: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html I Hope this helps if you have been mysteriously banned... :) Flash cookies also monitor websites you visit for "advertising" purposes.

Although this is nothing new, there are still a lot of people, especially newcomers, who are not aware of this.
There are a lot of good plugins for browsers that can delete the cookies, and it takes just a second!

Flash cookies are nefarious. Basically, since Flash is a standalone application, even when run in your browser, it can store stuff anywhere your user can access in your PC.

CCleaner is good if your only using a single account at a time, then running CCleaner and logging into the next account, but if you run a handful of accounts at a time like me then I'd suggest either VM's or VPS's.

Old info, but something that should be made into a sticky. Goofle uses them too along with all of the major sites. Delete them nasty critters for sure.

I personally use Better Privacy addon (Firefox) to delete or manage flash-cookies
"Remove or manage a new and uncommon kind of cookies, better known as LSO's.The BetterPrivacy safeguard offers various ways to handle Flash-cookies set by Google, YouTube, Ebay and others..."
