my friend told me that I should focus on one thing instead of many things at a time...
I don't know why I can't do it, I feel like I'm going to waste my time if I don't focus on other things at a time, and also it's like a risky strategy if you focus on just one thing and at the end you fail on it.

what do you think ?

Let's say you are making money from 1 thing that you are doing it is better to stay focus on it and scale it ( if the project is scalable). I understand that u work on something and u see other things and want to jump on them and that can make u stop making money because u will get tired and the reason for it is that u put a % of effort here and here and there and u end up with projects half completed. Focus on 1 thing till u make it work then if u want to move on to the next thing do it.

it depends on your approach. you can have many things in your plate and ordered in a priority list. but when it comes down to execution, you focus on just one at a time. once done, you move on to the next thing on the list. focus on that alone and then when you finish, move on. like that. that approach is maybe a hybrid of both. but trying to execute many things at the same time? i do not agree with. you cannot give your 100% to any task in that case. meaning you cannot execute at maximum capacity.

depending on what you do. For my type of activity I need to focus on many things at once

Doing one thing at a time and committing yourself 100% to it will give you desired results.

Key is strong desire to succeed, rest of the things will follow naturally.

I will say the idea of multiple income streams is usually exaggerated by gurus. Most of the millionaires on here make 80%+ of their income from a single project... whether it's a store, agency, brokerage - whatever.
