It's scary how many people doesn't understand this, yet make absolute statements while trying put others down.

Just look at this thread: a lot of people making absolute claims, based on what they've read in the media and what they've heard others say. I don't even think 95% of these people have looked into statistics nor history. No research at all.

My two favourite quotes in this thread:

A couple of years ago everyone became experts in 9/11 and everything behind the crash. Next up everyone became experts in Illuminati, every kid knew about this powerful secret group. Now they know better than educated professionals in this area. Fascinating!

it's called brain washing. The media literally brainwashes the youth with a constant bombardment of "facts" and "predictions". Fun fact: recycling doesn't reduce waste! just a money making scheme. Aka a scam. But people still throw their bottles in the green trash can because they believe it magically disappears and doesn't end up in the ocean. a load of crap.

Damn right. Right now here in West Europe we're stuck with our trash because Indonesia and China doesn't want it anymore. We literally loaded ships full of trash to "recycle" and dumped it there. They now stopped taking our trash because they dont have the factories to actually recycle it. Some asian countries signed an agreement to not take the trash from the west anymore. Last I heard we started dumping it in Turkey as there's no regulations there.

NONSENSE!!! I believe they use it for government agendas. However, back in the dinosaur days, the co2 had been higher or at least on par with our modern century.

Interesting thread with good viewpoints.

Something fascinating to consider: in 1900, there were approximately 1.5 billion people on earth. Now there are 7+ billion. In 100 years. That's insane. It's actually outrageous.

Oh shiznit!!!! Let me throw a monkey wrench in this conversation...

Scientists find evidence of global warming on Mars. Guess we’re not the only planet with industry and capitalism problems. Gotta cross off mars from the potential planets to colonize after we burn this planet up.

I believe in it but I don't believe that man has anything to do with it, that's just a bunch of propaganda to make human presence on Earth look bad, and another excuse for the NWO globalists to control us with.

It's all about solar cycles, we go through solar maximums which are warm periods with lots of sunspots, where every planet in the solar system heats up, and causes drought here on Earth. And then we go through solar minimums where the sun is turned down, which puts us in a mini ice age, Earths weather becomes cold and extreme, longer winters, etc. Just like we've been seeing increase in the past couple of years. Just look at the historical weather patterns going back hundreds of years and you can see ups and downs in global temperature. At the moment it's on its way down again.

Those darn Medievals and their polluting factories and cars... :suspicious:

Totally outrageous!

@MrRandQm Next IM project go fund me for mars

Wake up fella it's always about the money. Hydrogen is much better than electric cars, you don't have these battery issues and waste. But it's less profitable at this point, simple as that.
Hydrogen powered cars are electric cars too. The big difference is that you need to produce hydrogen somehow, and that is done via electrolysis, which requires electricity. If that doesn't come from green energy, it's the same issue as with the electricity, which is used to run battery powered electric cars. As of now hydrogen powered electric cars seem to be a dead end and not because it's more profitable to make battery powered electric cars, it's simply because the latter is more efficient.
Hydrogen is just a fuel like gasoline, you can't really make it at home, so you need to buy it from somewhere, the price is not up to you. If you're so fixated on that everything is profit based, you can bet your ass, if hydrogen were to replace gasoline, a lobby (similar to the oil lobby) would dictate the prices.

At the same time you can charge your battery powered electric vehicle at home using your solar panels, which provide you more than enough energy to power your house to the point, where you can sell surplus energy to the provider. Battery technology will evolve, these solid-state batteries are already better than the regular Li-ion ones.

It's sad in the world if people decide to not have children out of fear of the future. Might as well end it now, because not having kids isn't going to help the world "heal", it's going to make people forget about selflessness and the world will be a scary place without innocents.
Very true

What solid state batteries that you are talking about?

For some one reason I want kill 30 people at the time of posting this comment. Something is wrong with me.

I believe in it.... if not for global warming we would still be in the ice age.

The planet has been warming up OR cooling down, depending on which period of history is being spoken of. It's a cyclical phenomena that is mostly not connected to human activity, and not significant enough up or down to be anything like the cataclysmic concern those promoting the notion make it out to be.

The ulterior motive behind the "do something about it" push is to create a global tax and regulation scheme to blame and punish corporations for the warming. This of course will require a world wide bureaucracy of governmental system to enforce this, which is why the word "globalist" is used to describe its advocates.

Global Warming is a fact, only donkeys would deny that.
The argument is whether it can be solved by us the humans or by the nature itself, that's the whole conflict b/w those who see Global Warming can be solved by humans & that humans are responsible & those who think " it's normal & OK " & that nature can & will solve that by itself (which is kin of silly though).

Indeed its super interesting. Much more interesting is how many people there were in the year 0, christs birth. There were around 300-400 million people at this time. This means it took them 1900 years to become 1.5 billion people.

I believe in global warming and climate change. Interested to do something about it. As a contribution to reduce greenhouse gases from my side, I am driving hybrid car (mostly drive in electric mode) and using electric stoves. Willing to go for solar panels or something like tesla solar roof when possible.

Interested to know, what BHW mates think about it..

I do as well, and I have a project against it, or at least to make a change, even if it is just a small change. You can hit me up if you would like to contribute some, every help is appreciated!
