I believe in global warming and climate change. Interested to do something about it. As a contribution to reduce greenhouse gases from my side, I am driving hybrid car (mostly drive in electric mode) and using electric stoves. Willing to go for solar panels or something like tesla solar roof when possible.

Interested to know, what BHW mates think about it..

Great contribution to save the planet OP. Thing though is one has to be rich enough to buy electric cars to be able to save the planet the way you do.

For sure it's "real." Fact: Humans are destined for mass extinction or mass exodus where we move to a different planet or moon or such.

The planet Earth cannot support our behaviors. Asteroids, the sun dying, rising tides, glaciers melting. It's only a matter of time.

Highly recommend not having children. There are very few intelligent arguments for having children, unless they are going to be significant contributors to the scientific or engineering community that save more lives than they cost. If you are just going to have average kids who live average lives, highly recommend adoption.

Of course I believe in it. I don't think there will be any progress until countries in Asia agree to some eco standards.

For a second I thought I was reading a BST thread. :D

Disclosure: As part of this service, I was given a review copy of not having children at no cost.

My contribution to global warming and climate change has been significantly reduced compared to families that have children.

A+++ 5 stars. :cool:

There is nothing to believe there, it is a fact and we are doing almost nothing about it.

No climate change is a blunder, Our planet goes through the cycle of different weather conditions through time. Climate does changes and it is inevitable but everything is going in a cycle. The fact is that we are heading towards an ice age or mini ice age and after that our planet will become normal again like it was before industrial revolution. The climate will become normal only after an ice age.

Countries in Asia produce less waste per capita.

Countries in Asia are developing. Just because Western countries polluted the world over the last 200 years and now since they are developed already, they want to dictate the pollution norms. Not really a solution.

Look up the historical pollution output by most developed countries and compare it with the total pollution output of Asian countries so far and you will realize who has been at fault till now.

The west is developed, Asia is developing. If you put stringent eco laws, that slows down their growth. The only way I see it, the developed countries have to pitch in and support the developing countries grow sustainably. If the developed countries are not willing to pitch in, they should stop complaining since they are still the biggest waste producers and have no moral or ethical ground to stand on when discussing conservation of our ecosystem.

I believe , weather is kinda weird in every where.

Partly due to pollution been accumulated for years ever since human invent things etc .
than now come property, any forest , empty land will be clear to build housing
