I have an ebook/manual I am selling. I want to list it on Clickbank to get some affiliates pushing my product. My question is this. Do I need a separate site for clickbank? Because my site has the paypal and google checkout buttons. Dont want to lose those obviously, but it looks to me like clickbank wants the checkout on the site to be only with them. So I was thinking of creating a sister site with a clickbank checkout button with no other merchants on the site, only clickbank. This will leave me with the original site with Paypal and google checkout(the one I will SEO), and a sister site for the affiliates to push the product thru clickbank.

Is this correct?

Absolutely not a help at all. As many folks know about clickbank and have experience selling thru there, I am surprised all I got was check the TOS. I'm looking for advice, not the TOS. That response did nothing for me. Gave you another post for your stats though.

Yes, if you want to list your ebook on clickbank then creating a sister site would be the only way to go about it, unless you want to do away with google checkout as you will be able to accept paypal payment through clickbank.

Thanks Fatty. That was what I was afraid of. What a pain in the neck. But I guess that would be the only way to track the affiliate traffic and checkouts properly. It better be worth it. I'm gonna copy and paste the original site, and go back in and tweek things, change up a little content and menu options.

The only way for your affiliates to get their commission is if their traffic buys via Clickbank's payment system.

I am a newbie too. I have some questions too.

If I used bit.ly as short URL to promote Clickbank products and build backlinks with keywords to it, will my bit.ly URL ranked?
