'Social distancing' can make us safer
no, they don't make anyone safer. It's just an idiotic nostalgy that americans have with them for reasons that I can't understand.
The way I see safety is like this: the people who hold the real power can exterminate EVERYONE (including destroying the planet) at the push of a button, within seconds and without possibility of retaliation, and against such threats guns are useless. And for the few rare, isolated occurrences where guns kill people (in civilized societies I mean)... well, those few occurrences happen precisely because people have access to guns. So, guns don't make anyone safer.
There is simply too much violence in this world, and guns should only be owned by legal authorities (army, police, etc) and absolutely no one else. If most population can (and does!) live happily without owning guns it means that guns aren't needed
I'd rather be shot than stabbed 50 times and left bleeding out in the middle of the road like they do in Europe.
Europe is not a single country like the USA, amigo. So, please, do not hate on Europe because many European countries (sadly, not my shitty Romania, too) have a safer way of living than in America. And the stabbing is usually done by uneducated / poor people, just like in the USA. Except that in the USA they don't stab you, they shoot you because they have access to guns and so it's more convenient to them to shoot you.
The point I'm trying to make is that USA, Europe, Asia or Africa it doesn't matter. Some uneducated people, some poor people or psychopaths will always murder you one way or another, no matter where you live, so please don't hate on Europe because I don't like it. Blame it on lack of education and responsibility, the aggressive spirit, the permissive laws or any combination of these 3, not where the crime happens
Whats the difference between murdering 5 people with a gun and murdering 5 people by running them over in a car?
Lots of places in America are just as safe as places in Europe.
exactly my point! It doesn't matter where you live IF there are strict laws in place, the common folk doesn't have easy access to guns, lives happily, is educated and responsible. That's what I was addressing when I replied to the guy who said that he'd rather be shot in america than be stabbed 50 times in europe.
but what if they use C4Come to my house to harm us and you'll see they make us safer.
Everyone gangster until the ape started shootingI rarely like to give my opinion on this subject but i do it anyway. I think not everyone should have access to guns , the video below will show you why
the only thing that i don't like it's the fact that in some countries you are not even allowed to get a taser gun or even getting a pepper spray, so in this case how you are going to secure your familly?
