Do facebook ads work?

Facebook Ads can work! I tried to promote different kinds of affiliate products on facebook and the best results i had with german credit brokerage. I had a ROI of 200 - 250% only with geo targeting for german people above 18 years. Now i want to try to promote german ClickBank Products with direct traffic to a sales page and with traffic to a squeeze page to collect mail adresses. I think that earn money with facebook ads and english clickbank product can work also. Sorry for my bad english.

To be honest FB likes for smaller business dont grab much business, Make a account add alot of people get upto 5000 then switch account to page

Getting FB ads direct to a site sucks balls for sales, but it's good for getting your like count up for a fan page. If you want your visitors to visit your target site from your fan page often, you will have to post there daily with something new otherwise they wont see your links and forget about your page.

People are on FB to socialize, not to buy anything.

Brand awareness is what FB ads or fan pages are good for in my opinion, not sales.

unfortunately, they did not work for me... i only got a few likes but was not worth so much money...

To answer OP's question- I think plenty of people will click on your ad, but how many will buy? The thing is, that FB users are not in the 'buying mood' , they are there to network, catch up with friends etc.

for me, fb ads are really working. most of time I paid $5 and I receive a lot of likes (somewhere to 20-30 likes/post)

That's good to know --

I'm just trying to figure out if buying FB likes or using FB ads would be better, from a cost and return perspective... So that seems pretty good for a $5 spend.

Well, If you have really good budget get into facebook.

I've been working on CPA offers like Skin care, weight loss and dating with facebook ads. I'm getting 100-130 ROI mostly.

Its all about testing and checking what works best for you. As you are starting jewlery site, you can end up making decent figure if you do it rightly.

Send traffic to your website instead of the page likes.

I'll be posting detail guide in upcoming days.

The best is to try and see for yourself.
Some work great direct with website, others with Facebook Pages. You don't need to trash hundreds of dollars just to see how it is. Set a low rate and a $20-$30 budget. You'll get your answer in 2 days :)

With what kind of CPA offers do you work? Do you promote Clickbank products or have u ever try?

You don't really have to be a freak ass ads clicking guy before trying
to promote your product using such means.

Facebook ads is PPC so you pay only for clicks so this should
take care of your fear.

Over to the other question, Facebook ads is effective if you do it
right like every stuff out there.

I implore you check if there is category for your niche, you can find out
by trying to create an ad and cancel before it goes through.

If you find your category/niche then good luck and start preparing.

Make a reasonable budget of $100 monthly and get a squeeze page
collecting names of your visitors and giving them free stuff, later on
your can promote your item after trust is built.

With this strategy you don't loss your monthly $100 completely,
you have something to show for it. Secondly, create an eye catching
page for your business which is even a must if you are serious,
promote your page for likes using $100 monthly too.

Here is how this works, each time you make a post on your page,
people who have liked your page gets to see it and above all their
friends gets to see it too.

For example, if you have 100 Likes to your page and each of the
people that Liked your page has 120 friends each,
whenever you make an update 100x120=12, 000
gets the chance to see your post. Just remember to narrow
your target market and use any of the above strategy and you will rock.

This friends also stay on your page for life giving you free advert
whenever you like.

You don't need a big budget to get into Facebook, you can do it for a few dollars a day.

I would also go against the advice on not building likes, because after all thats what facebook is about "likes" and "sharing". Build up your audience and keep testing.

For a good read on how much the value of likes are then check out http://www.businessinsider.com/what-is-a-facebook-like-actually-worth-in-dollars-2013-3

I never tried them. I'm always trying to not put out a single cent on something so...
I want to make cash from zero$ on everything i do.

But i'm interested in this i guess.

Have you never heard the saying "speculate to accumulate". This means you need to spend money to make money bro.

Use facebook as social media its drive more traffic to your site...

Make a Facebook fanpage. Facebook ads really works. I sold many stuff from facebook ads. My Technique: Get half on the traffic to fanpage and half on the traffic on Website. Make things reachable and Customers can easily contact you via Email and Phone. Payment method must be easy.

Hope this info helps you.

Thanks

Kind of off topic, but with that kind of products and that target group, you should definitely try some pinterest advertising.

It's hard to make a positive ROI using Facebook Ads, even experts says that, because its not easy to target as it is with Google AdWords. Recently they made it easier to target certain people etc, but I still haven't had a positiv campaign.
