Do facebook ads work?

facebook will work if you know what your doing when your setting up your campaign on ebay, for instance I use impressions instead of using pay per click and I pay pennies for 1000,s of views I already have a funnel page set for non fans that take s them out of facebook and into my website I ave getresponse to capture their emails so im building a list and I do follow ups and newsletter. but make sure your targeted audience is no more than 100k the lesser the audience the better so make sure you pick laser targeted keywords!

You dont click on ads for a reason, coz you know the reason behind spam. As far as fb ads are concern, i had good experience with that. Go for it

I'm using facebook ads in conjuction with social media exchange sites to improve user interactivity. However, fb ads do not convert that well if you do not update your page regularly.

Fb ads for Fb pages are somewhat the same as having an auto responder account and promoting it on adwords. It may convert well if your posts have quality in them and timed correctly.

With good targeting, Facebook Ads is really worth it. There is psychological sense to create ads in FB.
There is a pattern for successful FB ads:
-I recognized that people generally dont like getting told what to do, or in this case what to like. I hate that and I'm pretty sure most other people hate it too.
-Make ads that attract people's interest, people love mascots even more and people like to associate with things they like or love, it's the tribe mentality.

I am just starting a jewelry website for women in mid-to-late teens through late twenties. I am not quite ready to open but when I do, I wonder how customers will find me. This kind of store would not thrive on SEO unless I had some kind of unique product. I am interested in advertising but here's the thing, I have NEVER clicked on an ad before, and I worry that advertising on facebook would be useless.

How many people will really click an ad on facebook?

Last time i placed ad on facebook there was option to choose category of people you want to target for eg technology etc. So you shall atleast try :)

Facebook can give you good clicks and price too not very high so far i put my ad last time.
Hope my 2 cents helps...

tryed but didnt have much luck. I did get more views. wasnt worth my money thou

This is a very generic question because it depends entirely on what your ads look like and many determining factors. Only way
to surely know is to test it. I have had decent results from Facebook ads before but I have also had issues with it.

With Jewelery Site i will suggest a Pinterest Board with lot of followers will perform better
FB ads can give good ROI depending mainly on Product , Pricing and your strategy

I've never ran a FB advertisement campaign but alot of my friends who own small local businesses have and they all totally love and feel like they get their monies worth from FB marketing.
I remember some guy spent like $200 or something minor and managed to get 400% more likes on his page than he had total up to that point lol, and he said alot of them did convert to sales too so he was pretty stoked. Good luck OP.

Make sure you are tracking the clicks yourself.. we advertised through FB and they counted more clicks than our Google Analytics were showing for a FB landing page on the site and we had to go back and ask for our moneys back...

Clicking on an ad depends upon the banner design you put. It must be eye catching and with attractive wording than traffic will automatically click your ad even if they don?t want...
Thanks.

I can't speak to FB ad efficacy but let me ask you this question: "How many Facebook ads have you clicked on?"

Frankly, I have yet to click on a FB ad.
