Hi all BHW members,

This is my first post and I can say I am a newbie!

I have a new website and want to do SEO for my new website. What is the best way to do SEO for my new website either black hat or white hat.

Now my choice is go for black hat, is there any problems will occur on my choice means please define me.
And also advise me which one is better to promote a new website.

Am waiting for your constructive advice!

it depends what you mean when you say "blackhat", currently the best way to approach SEO is with a "grey hat" technique. build tier 1 links by hand and use unique content (white hat), then build tier 2 links with softwares like senuke, UD, Magic, spin 1 (or more) articles and submit them to as many sites as you can (make sure to point them to your tier 1 backlinks)(grey hat), then build tier 3 to the tier 2 links, use softwares like GSA SER and Scrapebox, maybe even xrumer and a wiki poster and spam to death the tier 2 links (black hat).

any links that point directly to your site have to be quality, but any links that point to your other backlinks don't have to be (they won't negatively affect your site) but if they are high quality then all the better.

just don't go spamming your site with x,xxx's links.

Now I clearly understood what I can do for my new website:)

Kindly tell me; what type of quality back-links I will build on tier 1 links to my website.

Thanks!

web 2.0 links (wordpress, tumblr, weebly, blogger, etc) make articles and post them with your backlinks in.
PDF link (sribd, issuu, etc) make PDF's and post them with your backlink in.
high PR social bookmarks
maybe some article directories

Since the site is new, I wouldn't suggest you to start working on the blackhat link building methods right away but instead I would suggest you to build quality and diversified links. Build high quality links with high pagerank/.edu or .gov extensions and focus on Social media marketing and these would help you in the long run and improve your rankings in the search engines.

Indeed, I would never employ blackhat tactics from day one on a new site. Get the hard work of white hat linkbuilding done first, then use black hat tactics to build on that solid base.

yes its your site, you can build whatever links you want, just make sure they are quality links, and don't be spammy. tier 1 is best of being white hat

Finally I have one doubt; now days many of the people say the directory submission is now spamming.
Can I go for it?

Thanks for your kind advice!

This is why we hate newbies. You basically want someone to give you methods/links/threads.

neg repped for your attitude.

Hi There,

I prefer you to do white hat SEO. Start with keywords and on site SEO first. Then for link building you can use any method according to keywords competitor and your requirements. It is better to go for white hat but you can use some tools like roboform for making submission easy

Thanks
