Do any blackhat methods for views like bots still work?

generic bots are easily detectable these days, regular proxies are blacklisted quickly. however, a botnet on mostly residentials is likely to work. Like luminati, it is a botnet service which users install on their devices voluntarily for unblocking websites.

you could automate things with automated software like SENuke and gsa search engine ranker to post without being flagged too early. still you'll need to rotate between a whole a bunch of them. you could also use browser automation tools like iMacros with some little tasks.
