Now, now, now.

There ARE Americans that care about the World Cup. I watched the 2 games the USA has played in and am taping a game as I write this.

It is true that many Americans are just into American Football. However, it is untrue that Americans do not care at all about the World Cup. Just the other day, I saw a van draped with a huge Brazilian flag.......wrong team of course, but clearly, it was about their support for their own team.

Now, I have to agree that the OP started off on the wrong foot(no pun intended)....

I didn't care about the World Cup until I ran across the US-England game. Now I can't seem to stop watching every game that comes on.

Majority of Americans aren't interested in what the whole world loves. They play baseball, basketball and American Football. It's funny though most of the world doesn't care about their sports either lol
