    Hi,

I need you recommendation, I have a site that have some traffic, when I look into google analytic it looks like a US direct traffic.

How can I check if this is a real traffic or a bot/bought traffic?

    Info from analytic:
    Avg. Session Duration: 00:00:07
    Bounce Rate: 15.29%
    Pages / Session: 1.85
    % New Sessions:95.88%

    Thanks,
    darklich

Pretty simple really. If direct traffic constantly consists of New sessions. Than its bot traffic. During my experience people will still type in your website in google and use that to go to your website. Its almost never direct. This would either be under non-provided or direct keyword.

There are other ways but I see direct traffic mostly as bot.
