In first image there are analytics stats which shows 40 link clicks

In the second image twitter stats are shown, which shows a link count of 223 .
Can someone please clarify why there is huge difference, is twitter cheating on me?

No, Twitter is not likely to be cheating on you. Can you imagine all advertisers on Twitter finding these discrepancies the uproar that would cause the brand?

No, the answer is fairly simple. You can even see the same "discrepancies" in Facebook and even Google Adwords. They just don't count the same things in the same ways. A click in Facebook, Twitter and Adwords is NOT the same as a visit as recorded in Analytics. They are not equivalent. There are a few other reasons too, the start of day is not the same time for example.

I did some research about this topic after posting here. Actually twitter charges not only for destination url but also for hashtags, profile clicks and engagement. That is knind of sick I think.
