Difference between HR Views, Low quality Views, ad views and NRV

So for minecraft meme videos, I should just make them 2 to 4 minutes long and buy alot of hq 2-5m retention views to help rank it?

Either that or you try to promote your video on fb groups, reddit or adwords views to grow your channel whitehat. Buying views HQ or even adwords is most the times quite expensive and has a bad ROI, but yeah youtube is a long hustle. It grows slowly at first and then it can snowball or you can just getting stucked at 300 subs forever. It all depends on the quality of your content.

Okay thankyou! And what are adwords views?
Is that a smm panel service or you mean just google video ad campaigns?

There are panels that are doing the campaigns for you or you could just run your own campaign. But its basically the same.

I guess smm panels don't target the adwords campaign as well, just make random campaing... so you get low quality and most cheap traffic, if you make own campaign by adwords you can control the campaign as well and promote in your niche, so it gives a lot of bigger chance to interest viewer and thanks that your retention and engagement in the video can be higher. So in my eyes it's better to setup campaign on your own, howerer it can cost much more especially if someone don't have expirience.

I totally agree with that, your own campaigns are way more targeted, but these panels work with a huge budget and can give you way better prices most of the times

Most of my videos are around 15 mins I'm guessing the only way I should be trying to get more views is just keep uploading regular, if I buy any type of views I assume these will have a negative effect on my videos because of the low watch time?

This is absolutly correct

Hey Everybody, since nearly everyone does get this wrong and is talking about different things Im here to explain all the terms for you so that we are all on the same page. So lets call it a blackhat view guide

HR Views = High retention views (Retention is the percentage of minutes of the video watched, please note this. Long time ago there were views that gave a 70-90% retention. So whats so special about these views? If you uploaded a 2 minute video you got about 1:40 of views (70%), if you uploaded a 10 minute video you got 7 minutes (70%) and if you uploaded a 100 minute video you got 70 min. As you see these views were perfect for faming watch time.
These views dont exist anymore. Im 100% sure but you can proof me wrong and I will edit this.

Low quality views = The very cheap views that get deleted by youtube very quickly, also low retention and just overall bad

Ad views = A lot of people are selling adwords views, so they will do a campaign for you on google adwords and will send traffic to your video. Retention is most times bad, but whats even more important. THESE VIEWS DONT COUNT ANYMORE FOR 4K Watchtime. Im not sure why youtube changed it, but since mid january these views dont help you to get monetized.

Raw Views = Cyberars (the provider of the old NRV (more on that later) created these kind of views, that probably come from popup ads (no google ads). These views count for your watchtime. You cant call them HR views since you dont buy any save retention (is your video good, it gives you a good retention, if the video is short it also gets you better retention). Since you dont get a fixed percentage viewed the result differs. The best way to farm watchtime with them is to upload a very long video WITHOUT any sound. The logic behind that is easy, your video pops up in the background and a lot of user dont realize it and watch a movie while the youtube video is running in the background. With this methode you can get about 7-10 min views on avarage (which is bad retention but good for farming watchtime)

HQ no fixed retention views = these are views that stick and dont give a specific retention. Most timese these views are about 2-3 minutes retention. So when you have a short 3 min video these views are good since they provide nearly 80-100% retention which the algo likes. But if you use them for a longer video they give a bad retention since the views are fixed 2-3 min views.

NRV = Most people that talk about HR views are talking about these kind of views. They are from cyberars and sadly they dont exist anymore (for now). These views were the real deal and I will explain you why.
First of all they gave a fixed retention about 70% which is great for farming watchtime AND pleasing the algo, since the algo loves long retention. But now the reason why these were real deal. The traffic source for these videos were only search, suggested and browse, which is insane for getting into recommended. The most important things to get into the algo is CTR and Retention and these views had both, they gave you a crazy CTR and a good Retention. You could basically make every video viral or rank it. They are 100% not existing at the moment. Proof me wrong if you can.

So here a short FAQ:

Why do i get low rentention views?

Your uploaded video is to long or you are buying trash views. There is no fixed retention views anymore

When should I buy views and which?
- If you are trying to rank 2-3 min videos buy high quality views with 2-3 min retention
- if you want to farm watchtime buy RAW views and upload a long silent video

Why am I not ranking like before?
- because even with good retention these views are not NRV views, they dont come from suggested/browse/search, so you may rank for some keywords or get some collateral views but you wont get into the algo anymore

When do NRV come back?
-probably never but only Cyberars can tell that

Okay thats all for now. I hope we are all on the same page now. If there are any questions feel free to ask. Also feel free to post this link in any thread that gets it wrong (so every thread)
So how would someone rank videos now?
Is it all based on Keywords now?..... Im confused
I have a 2:30 video that I have purchased 500K HQ views for... that inturn got me 600K Organic views. It was a music video in the Rap Genre

Most of it is based in specific ctr, with specific I mean there are three different ctr in your analytics, suggested ctr, browse ctr and search ctr. If you get these high the second biggest factor is retention, after that we have watchtime/channel authority/ video authority (how many views it already has) / like ratio/ engagement etc.
Keywords help for YouTube to categorize your content, and for low competition keywords to rank in search. But to get into suggested and browse they are only important to the point that they help YouTube find your target audience. If the other factors suck, it's of no use.

So 600k organic views is awesome. Most probably because 2.30 is ideal for hq views since the retention will be really good. Most of your views will probably come from video authority at this point. If I would take a guess it will be mostly search views and maybe suggested views but not much browse feature views. Is this correct?

The artist that I invested in has a local fan base of about 3,000 people. He sells out shows locally. And in all honestly Im not sure how I got so many organic views after purchasing 500k HQ Views. Perhaps the channel that is was on played some type of factor as the chanel the video was posted on has over 700K subscribers. So i imagine inflating the artists numbers has made his music video stand out compared to 90% of the artists that get posted on that Chanel. I also Did Drip feed of about 10K views per day.

What happened to 2-5 minute retention views? They were working great last month...

Good informations so the people that buy views from bhw can understand

I understand when you mentioned sound has to be mute. The video should be blank as well? With just a black screen?

I want to thank you for putting so much time and effort into this guide tiger!

I upload instrumentals on my YouTube channel which are always 2-3 minutes long. Do you think buying HQ views could harm my channel / the algorithm since those views are not niche relevant?

I managed to somehow Google this thread. I'm not sure whether you're gonna reply or not but here's what I gotta say. First of all, this is well written up and probably the reason why almost every freaking HR view purchase I made, ended up giving me LITTLE TO NO IMPACT on my organic channel growth.

I've purchased "Ranking High retention views" from various SMM Panels and they all had the same end result. I don't know how tf a panel claims "ranking" when it has little to no impact towards this. Here are the statistics of views I bought

- The videos had 5-15 mins in length (typically 10 mins long).
- The watchtime retention was almost always 3-4 mins per video regardless of range as stated on your first post.
- I would buy ~5k views with 7.5k as my max.
- The traffic sources ALL came externally. No impressions were generated via those views and thus fk'd the algo.
- The amount of total organic views obtained after the views delivered all fell back to the face of the earth. None of those services had its views drop but its organic views gained over time was little to nothing.

Over the last few days, I've been trying to discover and figure out what are the best BlackHat methods to ranking videos. One of the hints I found was videos NEED these CTR/Impression views. These types of views make it more authentic. However, upon browsing Social Media section, I could not find a single service that offers click-throughs. I'm very convinced (though I can't prove yet) that if I purchased even 1000 impression & click-through views at 100% CTR, it would rank very very highly and be shown up on suggested.

Now I know quality and thumbnails and the shit ppl say on real YT communities but those are WhiteHat methods. I do follow those and I have a decent YT channel. However, what I noticed is some videos just absolutely SUCK at marketing all because my initial audience didn't click-through it for the first hour or so and thus the video starts bottoming out. I've made videos of all sorts from slap-on images to well edited footage, I remembered a few times where a video of mine just got 10k organic views easily; not many likes, shares, comments and the retention was ~35%. Yet somehow some way I was pouring in impressions on a day to day basis with decent click-through rates. On the other hand I had a video where it took days to make but barely got 2k views then when purchased views until I got 10k, guess what? The video was literally buried the moment the delivery ended. It never got any more organic views (at least not noticeable).

So this leaves me with a few questions.

1. How good are the RAV views? Many services seem to sell this. I doubt there's an NRV views seller atm on the market. How much of a difference would you say 5k RAV views are compared to 5k HR views? Do RAV views generate a lot of impressions and click-through rates, thus the YT algo would promote more often in rankings/suggested videos? I might stick this in on one of my better quality yet underperforming videos in the future.

2. Do SEO services work for Youtube? I saw this thread and I just received my review copy: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/o...als-organic-views-free-review-copies.1162754/. What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks for reading this :)
